I love Kafiex! The food was delicious, and I’ve been back a few times to try other dishes and the pastries. They roast their... own beans and if you aren’t a coffee lover, try their Golden Turmeric Latte. Honestly, everything I’ve tried is yummy. Read more

Came here with a friend when I got into Portland!\n\nGood:\n- breakfast sandwich with croissant was amazing! I hung on every... bite and it was so flakey and good. Fast service too!\n\nBad:\n- Chai latte kind of tasted strange - perhaps it’s the Oregonchai taste but I wasn’t a huge fan and it had a bit of a bitter taste.\n\nOverall a pretty nice place to get breakfast and sawa fair amount of people working. Cute vibe and ambiance inside but wouldn’t come again for the coffee. Breakfast is solid. Read more

Been here several times and love the location & atmosphere but that\'s definitely part of what you are paying for. Not enough... bang for my buck to make it a place to regularly frequent especially when you pay for parking nearby. An 8oz matcha oatmilklatte will set you back $7 and the $13 pretzel bites didn\'t even half-fill the container they were served in (which was sadbecause the dipping sauces were so good). Stick to the yummy croissants, French toast, & baked goods of you stop by. The almondcroissant is heavenly. Read more

Overpriced coffee, dry baked goods. Coffee was okay, not worth the price in my opinion. Zucchini bread was like $4-5 and stuck... to the roof of your mouth it was so dry. I think it was a few days old… wouldn’t recommend this place. Go somewhere else! Read more

Cool little specialty coffee shop. You walk in and just feel like they know what they are doing ????. The barista was super... friendly. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. Didn\'t have it but the guy in front said the breakfast sandwiches are the best! Read more

I\'m always happy to support local coffee shops, and Coffee Lab is a short walking distance from where I work. I will definitely... be coming here during my breaks whenever I need a quick caffeine fix. I\'ve been here twice and the employees with whom I havecome into contact have been helpful to me. Also, the cafe is clean and nicely decorated.\n\nThough their selection isrelatively small, they have a pretty good menu here, including a unique caffeine-free blue matcha. I would also recommend theircaramel latte. They also have a few rotating pastries throughout the day that seem to be of high-quality, I\'ve tried theirlemon bread. Read more

Great coffee! Both of the girls there were very friendly and helpful! They have lots of outdoor seating, and some under a canopy... too.\nThe cajeta (goat milk dulce de leche) latte was balanced just right, and the normal latte my mom got was great as well.FYI, if you prefer less fruity coffees I would mention it. They only do classic sizes. They also do pour-overs and siphon coffee(very cool).\nThe bakery is absolutely oustanding!! Shown is a (vegan) oatmeal cookie that was simply amazing. On the shelf theyhave turmeric honey drinks, 1 decaf and 3-4 choices of coffee roast/blends, and a chai blend (just 7g of sugar :D). They alsohave a great collection of books to read while there.\nIts the perfect location too, Esther Short Park right next to it has manyplaces to walk and sit, or go down to the waterfront.\nAnother note of detail - the shop and designs are beautiful. I reallylike the blue recurring print with various coffee devices, it would make great wrapping paper on the holidays. The design oftheir coffee bags are some of my favorites, and the valve does not get in the way when you roll it up (pet peeve ofmine).\nUpdate:\nThe siphon brewing is really cool to watch, and the resulting coffee(using the three amigos blend) was veryclean and bold. The oatmeal bar is sweet and \'indulgent\', and the biscuit my mom got was perfectly delicate with a slight bitof rosemary. Still a great shop! Read more
