've worked as a waitress and worked at an IHOP, I know it can be crazy so I'm pretty relaxed with any expectations. My BF and I... stopped in while my vehicle was worked on. It was fine to start, a slow evening with ourselves and about 3 other customers. Thefood was okay, as to be expected. Our only issue came when our drinks ran out, and the server never checked on us, I tradedglasses with my BF and placed his empty glass at the end of the table so the server could see it from the kitchen. She nevercame by and checked in, but walked by a few times to another table. I only think people need to be checked on once at leastwhile dining. She spent her time talking with her friends, standing in the kitchen area. She seemed very nice and like a sweetgirl, but definitely didn't seem to want to be bothered with service. We had a very great dinner tonight! We were having a celebration for our kids going to camp. The food was excellent, coffee was... delicious, and the service was superb. Tracy P was our server, she was very helpful ,friendly, and efficient. We'll come backagain soon. Read more
I used to love this restaurant. It was clean, busy, energetic, well-priced . . . it was always just a nice overall... experience. However, I took my mom here the other day. We arrived at about 8 o?clock on a Saturday morning. Half of therestaurant was completely empty. There were two parties waiting. We ended up waiting 30 minutes. They were severely understaffedfor a Saturday morning. We finally got seated. Unfortunately, the place had a little bit of an unpleasant odor. When you lookedaround, you could see that the building itself was aging and not being kept up. We ordered our food. I wanted to order a sideof toast, and it was $3.29 for a side of toast. And you know how much toast was included? One slice. That?s right. One slice ofsourdough. And it was not a big slice either. Just a normal piece of hard, dry toast with almost no butter for $3.29. I?msorry. But this IHOP has gone downhill. I will not be going back. If you?re looking for a great place to take your mother, lookelsewhere. This isn?t it. It?s the worst place ever. I?m here with my family and we had to wait from 11:10 to ? now is 1:45 is still waiting. All staffs... on the table are so dirty and places too. Good are bad and the service looks like board and they want customers just leave. Idon?t recommend anyone to come here. Don?t waste ur money. Finally, we just got our food. Oh, The food is not as they describedin the menu and It?s really disgusting the hair is in the fries. We called the server and she said to bring her glasses to see.Then, she sent another service and she came to make sure. Weird restaurant. It's IHOP. The food was good, consistent with all the other IHOP locations I've visited. I do feel the pancakes get a little... smaller each year... Our server was very nice, the staff we interacted with all seemed great. The atmosphere was fine I guess.Wasn't expecting much. We were sat near a particularly smelly individual but I can't fault IHOP for someone else's lack ofhygiene. Read more
