Reviews for Grassa in Vancouver, WA
Me and my Boyfriend got the Pork Belly Mac n Cheese and the Meatballs. We both shared the two dishes and they were absolutely... delicious. The Porkbelly was very sweet and chewy, and added a delicious flavor to the Mac n cheese that also had some spice toit! The Meatballs were delicious loved the sauce and garnish on both. They served the Soda right out of the Tap gun, and offeredfree refills - Served us the food while we sat. Amazing experience Read more
I live nearby and got a chance to try most menu items. It's nice to have a casual, dining place on waterfront! Fusilli alla... vodka - Excellent! There is discrepancy with spicyness level and it's been great across the entire spectrum Cacio e pepe -delicious despite vegetarian. Buttery without too much of the guilt and tastes of truffle Big rig - the only recipe that seemsto incorporate mushrooms. Delicious, solid choice for anyone that appreciates a creamy pasta with crumbles of pork ButternutSquash Caramelle - May just be a limited time, fall dish. I thought it was nice especially if you like a sweeter plate. Not themost filling compared to others but id consider this an excellent appetizer since I wouldn't want to eat the entire thing but Idid enjoy each bite Carbonara - a bit too heavy but at least very filling. This reheats fine but is best enjoyed when you'redining there Cherry tomato pomodoro - very filling and feels healthy without compromising flavor. Had leftovers that reheatedwonderfully Pork belly Mac & cheese - good but not personally a fan of BBQ style pork belly Pork ragu - safe choice Cornagnolotti - on the colder side because of the ingedients despite ordering for dine-in. Not filling whatsoever. Left hungry anddisappointed the time I came and ordered this I reviewed these in the order of most favorite to least favorite. I'd recommendthe fusilli alla vodka the most especially for those that may like spice Read more
Grassa is a good addition to the Vancouver waterfront dining scene but the music can be obnoxiously loud . The space at Grassa... is open and , in general , comfortable. Service and ordering is at the counter with an order number assigned at the time ofpayment. I ordered the fusilli , a caesar salad and a side order of meatballs. Water is available at the counter---self serve aswell. The order was brought to the table promptly . The caesar salad was excellent---top shelf. The dressing was good and justthe correct amount . The preserved lemon was a great added touch. The fusilli was moderately spicy and very tasty . Cookedperfectly al dente. The pasta is made on-site behind the counter to the left of the ordering station. The meatballs, served 3per order, were also delicious. The entire meal was more than enough for two moderate eater to share. The open window to thestreet at tableside on a perfect PNW day , added to the casual and pleasant ambiance--------------except for the loud musicplayed overhead . The music is so loud that conversation with table mates can be difficult. The other issue was a dirty bathroomthat needed attention. The prices charged are reasonable for the good quality of the food and I feel I received good value forthe money. Grassa has only recently opened as of the date of this review. I'm looking forward to more return visits hoping thatthe 2 issues mentioned above are resolved once Grassa gets past any newly-opened restaurant issues UPDATE---I had thecarbonara.....off the charts. My new favorite ????. Read more
Handmade pasta is good. The atmosphere is very casual. My favorite so far is the big rig (big rigatoni). The garlic bread is... very tasty. Read more
Wanted to love Grassa. Pasta is fresh and good. Felt overpriced for noodles with sauce. No real protein option and limited... veggies. Ample seating, great ambiance. Large selection of outdoor seating. MUCH better than crowded Portland locations. Wouldreturn if a friend wanted to attend but wouldn't crave. Read more

Grassa was very interesting and delicious. We stopped by for dinner and found that you don?t get seated. You order at the front... and then take your number and look for a place to sit. There are booths and shared tables. The fusilli alla vodka was reallygood and spicy! The pork belly mac and cheese came out extremely salty, the staff was really friendly and remade the dish veryquickly. The new dish tasted amazing! I would highly recommend the mac and cheese. Overall this is a good place to eat somepasta! Read more
