I don't know how it is during the week but it was practically empty on Sunday night. I ordered a grilled cheese because they're... grilled cheese is always been good the past. I must say it was generous to a fault. There was so much cheese in it it couldn'tbe contained and the toasted sandwich bent in the middle with cheese hanging out all over the place. However the bartender wasfriendly and helpful. Before covid I was a regular there for karaoke. Things seem to have changed. Read more
Stopped in late on a Saturday night. Bar was crowded. Crowd was young, enthusiastic, loud and friendly. Regular karaoke... crowd. Karaoke is very loud. Bar doesn't accept cash but takes debit and credit cards. There was someone checking IDs at thedoor. Staff was friendly and very busy but drinks came quickly. All in all a welcoming vibe. Read more
They do karaoke here like all the time. So if you're looking for a good karaoke bar look no further. A pool table, a pinball... machine, dart board and a shuffleboard table. Card only there, no cash, so be prepared for that. Inside and outside seatingavaliable. Drinks and food there as well, can't comment on that, been awhile since I ate or drank there. Read more
Had good drinks and a good time! The male bartender and the door bouncer were absolutely great! Both really funny and great to... talk to! Bouncer grabbed my dad a water which was much needed lol but really appreciated his effort that he didn?t have to dobut did! Didn?t catch their names but we were there on 05/27 11pm - 2 am 05/28. This place has the best Karaoke in the Couv, 7 nights a week. They never really close. They have been one of the few bars... throughout this pandemic that stays open until 2:00am. If you are a musician you would probably wanna show up on a Thursdayfor open mic, mixed with KaRaOkE. Its a gender fluid bar, LBGT friendly place, every one in the bar is friendly, The drinksand food we had there was on point, great pizza and burgers. Hot wings, French dips.sandwiches. I went to Vancouver 2 weeks ago to help my daughter pack to move into their new home. I wanted to go sing a little Karaoke and... relax. So, I checked the reviews on bars and decided to give Donnell's Karaoke bar a try. I have had millions of burgers andtater tots in my lifetime, but this was the most mouthwatering cheeseburger and tater tots I have ever eaten. The ranch dressingthat was served with my tots had the taste of homemade not that gaggy slimy stuff you usually get from restaurants. Who wouldever think you could get awesome food in a bar. The Karaoke guy Mike was awesome. Because I was from out of town he askedpermission from the regulars to let me sing first. The atmosphere was wonderful and well-lit, and the regulars were friendly andvery outgoing. I fell in love with the bartenders and the owner. The owner Tro came over and sat down and started talking to me,which I thought was awesome in itself. Then he kept checking back to make sure I was being well taken care of. He was a verygood looking man and single, if only I had been 29 years younger. Now, that to me is over the top great service. It was theBartender Shawn's birthday that night and the owner called her up on stage and surprised her with a big beautiful birthday cake.When I go back to Vancouver to visit my daughter I know where I will be singing Karaoke and getting my hamburgers from now on. Istill think of that cheeseburger. If I thought I could order the cheeseburger and tots thru Doordash or Grubhub and have itdelivered to Coeur d' Alene I would do it in a heartbeat. Karaoke at this bar was awesome! Beer and food was great. There was also a dart board, pool table and a shuffle board. Only... issue I had was that there wasn?t very much seating as the place is a tad small. Read more
