What a catchy name for a taco joint. Was very excited to try out the food here but a couple of things prevented a full 5 stars.... Met my wife here for lunch and immediately noticed the club music cranked up to 11. Thought we were at a dance club in Cabo.Don\'t get me wrong, we love atmospheric soundtracks, but this was over the top.\nThe food was good, but pretty average. A greatfish taco is a good measure of how a place like this stands up against a pretty crowded field. Flavors were good, but the fishon the fish taco was round...too round for the tortilla. Like stuffing a tennis ball into a taco. Not easy to negotiate. Perhapsprep the fish to better fit the tortilla?\nThe environment was clean and seating was adequate. Staff was friendly but obliviouswhen we commented on the music.\nMight have another go, but next time for evening grub and cocktails. Perhaps a more fittingvibe. Read more

Food was exceptional, all meat seasoned to perfection! Our favorite was the quesabirria tacos. Staff was very friendly and... prompt. Only downside is the menu is kinda pricey and you don\'t really feel full of you order only one entree. We will justorder an extra taco when we go back next. Read more

Love this place!! Worth every penny because the quality is always there. We take all our friends here because it’s a... guaranteed banger! My favorites are the fish taco, quesabrosaburia, miniburi, shrimp tacos, queso dip, and churros.\nThese areseriously the tacos I’ve been searching my whole life for!! Never a weird bite of meat, and let me tell you I’m the pickiesteater when it comes to meat.\n\nThe few bad reviews are so lame. I mean come on, always about price! You pay for what you getand let’s me honest inflation is killing everyone! Give the restaurant business a break, especially places that make artisanalcrafted food made with love!! They don’t make enough restaurants like this and I sure do appreciate the ones who care and arequality over quantity.\n\nThe owners are from LA and know what’s up when it comes to authentic Mexican food. The PacificNorthwest is very lucky to have them! (: Read more

Ordered the queso fundido with chorizo, definitely a good app to start. Fresh tortilla chips make it that much better! I ordered... the Baja trio with fish and California shrimp. All very good, but the shrimp was my favorite. Next time, I want to try eitherthe street tacos or the birria tacos ???? Read more

Every not so often, you stumble across a place that literally makes your day. A place where you forget where you are at or... what region. \"A Fish Named Taco\" is truly that place. At 1st glance it looks like a strip mall possible chain. I assureyou it is not. I ordered the trio to get a taste test of what they\'re offering. I instantly recognized the flavors of SouthernCalifornia especially in the Baja area. I also knew instantly that whoever was in the kitchen truly knows what they are doing. These are fish and shrimp tacos on a completely different level. I ordered 2 more of my favorite tacos which were the bajahalibut fish and the beer battered shrimp. They batter the fish and make it to order as well as make the sauces from scratchusing family recipes. They also use decent size shrimp for both their battered and their grilled ones. What was alsoimpressive is they clean their shrimp.\n\nStaff is very knowledgeable on tequila as well. I plan on having a margarita on mynext trip and I\'m sure it\'s going to be fantastic. This place is truly a gem and I\'m so glad I made the effort to drive up tocheck it out. Anyone who has an issue with an 8 dollar price point on halibut or three large shrimp taco should just go to DelTaco. What a great value for such expensive and quality ingredients. Those tacos would literally be $12 each at Lake OswegoGrill or Dosolace and not even half as good. Read more
