Went there on a Monday night (Nov 14) for dinner at about 8pm. Due to family emergency, they didn't have table service staff and... couldn't cater to dine-in customers. However, upon entering, the chef welcomed us and apologized for not having full restauranttable service, but if we wanted to dine in it was still possible. The food came fast after we ordered, the chef personally cameto serve us the food, served us tea and even asked if anyone had peanut allergies before serving it on the soy garlic friedchicken. The veggie tofu stew was really good. The tofu was soft and supple. Soup was a good amount of spicy for me. Thespiciness is not one that stops you from enjoying the whole dining experience. It's a gentle type of spiciness. I woulddefinitely recommend going there. Somehow, their hot tea tastes so good too! Read more

This is our go-to Korean spot. As a Korean, I could tell their food taste like what my mom would make, and the environment also... gives me the homey vibe. We always get the Kimchi stew and the Pork bone stew, but their Pork cutlet and the Jae-yuk (pork) stirfry are also really good. The owner is incredibly nice which is also one of the main reasons why we go back every time. Read more

Food was great for the value. The atmosphere of the place was rather friendly. I would say it's in between diner & nice date... regarding the atmosphere. My only complaint is the wobbly tables. I felt that there's a possibility I could break the ceramicdishes from the wobbly table (I didn't). I'd recommend this place if you're looking for good value. Ordered $20 Chirash set from Yogi-yo(2568 Arbutus St, Vancouver) last Friday. Chirashi don is big: there are salmon, tuna,... unagi, tamago, ebi, tobiko, and avocado. The set comes with a half udon, salad, and edamame. The portion and quality are bothdecent. Read more

I meant to take more pictures, but I ate it last night without thinking it twice. These are my left over because I needed to... save some for later. The best korean chicken I tried in a long time. There Yum-Yun chicken is excellent and their Hawaiiansushi rolls are amazing! I will definitely order again. Read more

I love Korean Bulgogi Burgers! Usually I order from another restaurant but I decided to try it here at Yogi-yo. In addition to... the Bulgogi buger I also tried the Hot and Crunchy Roll. The Bulgogi burger was ok, I thought there'd be a bit more in theburger like onions/lettuce etc. But it was just the buns, bulgogi, and cheese. Overall it was OK, likely will not order thisagain. The Hot and Crunchy Roll was great, it was tasty, wouldn't hesitate to order this again. Read more

This is the best sushi place for late night in Vancouver. The quality of ingredients are outstanding: fresh fish and well... seasoned rice. This restaurant became our go to sushi place immediately. I have ordered several times from Uber Eats in the lastfew weeks and there was no disappointing experience. Read more

Portions were fair for the value and the food was delicious! My partner and I walked by this place and the chef came out to... greet us, walked us through the menu, and gave us a background of the restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our takeout and will comeagain for some late night (or early) dinner. Super fresh, delicious, and fair price for the value you get in Kitsilano. Read more
