We came as a group of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids) got the platter for 4 and left with some extras. The chicken wings as a side were... amazing, honourable mention to the onion rings. Great selection of beers and whiskey too. Meat eaters Mecca. Read more

Very disappointed. The brisket was sliced as thin as bacon, and the “slice” of pickle was a sliver - no exaggeration.... Practically needed tweezers to pick it up. Plus, a medium order didn’t even warrant a whole slice of bread, but rather only ahalf. Over-priced and over-rated. The only reason to give 2 stars was because the sides were good and the meat had a good taste.I’ve also never been to a barbecue place that didn’t provide sauce on the table. I’m sorry, but I can’t recommend thisplace. The owner needs to seriously think about where to cut costs. Pickles, mustard and bread are the lowest cost items - andburned a very negative impression into me. Read more

Well to start I've never left a review and this place was so bad it drove me to do so. First off the portions were absolutely... miniscule for the price. I feel like I've been robbed of $60 dollars and waisted over an hour to have this garbage delivered. The sauces they sent were in tiny containers filled less the a quarter, the beans were obviously microwaved and tasted awfulalong with the flavourless "mac and cheese". Our Biscuits were so undercooked when i broke them in half I thought it was cheese, took a bite and spit it out realizing it was DOUGH. This place is awful, I hope it was just an off night because if this is yourbusiness model you should be ashamed and be sued for serving this trash. ZERO STARS! SEE PICS!! Read more

I love it! It was a busy night Marc was juggling the phones, floor, and still manage to get our food on time. We opted for... dine-in, ordered the brisket and a full rack of ribs. Can't wait to go back. Read more

Legit BBQ spot. RESERVATION NEEDED. We didn't have reservations but the owner was kind enough to service us (it was perfect... timing before the reserved guests). Everything is delicious. In house BBQ sauce is SO BOMB. We tried the platter so we get totry everything. This thing can make 5 men full (4 if y'all got heavy duty gut). Loved all the meat. Chicken was done reallywell. Sides like baked beans and mac and cheese are freshly made. For Chicken Gravy, it's a bit different than gravies I'm usedto. Ask the chef owner if you want to know more about the gravy. Service was great but not the fastest (mine was over 20mins) Iwasn't planned on drinking but they have quite a few options to pair with this feast. Read more

I opted for dine in since the whiskey fries are only a dine in item but we were told we couldn’t order bc he was the only... person in the place for another hour and it’s difficult to make, slightly disappointed however I did enjoy the friesplain. The pulled pork sandwich was good, I did find a little on the dry side but I enjoy the flavour The coleslaw was bland tome The brisket was good but not enough portion for the price. Biscuit wasn’t great Don’t order a Caesar to drink here ????.. they did what they could with what they had but they shouldn’t make it Whoever served us was friendly and great person :) Read more

Cute little spot off of Renfrew. I really wanted to like this place because LOVE bbq but it didn’t do too much for me. We... sat outside at their cute little setup. Be mindful to let the server know you’re outside if you sit on the north side as it isa little bit of a blind spot. I didn’t feel super comfortable with the tables, fearing my glass cups would fall and break ifthey weren’t placed on the table properly due to the gaps. It took a little bit of rearranging to ensure our plates and drinksfit on the table without any issues. We order medium size plates to share (one per person) which felt more than enough, portionsize. The brisket and pulled pork were well cooked. I would have liked more flavour from it, whether it be more sauce orspices. It was too bland for my liking. I was disappointed with the mac & cheese. But I mean it was in the name as all I feltit tasted like was boiled macaroni with melted cheddar on top. No signs of a cheese cause or elevated flavours. The beans werenot bad. I would say a 7/10. They are a tad on the sweeter side if you enjoy your beans that way ???? The potato salad andcoleslaw were standard. I liked them. The iced tea was actual iced tea. It wasn’t sweetened, similar as to what you wouldfind in the United States. I didn’t end up finishing it because I wasn’t into the type of tea that was used. It tasted off,but I could just be my preferences. Thank you the the experience! Read more

I promised to leave a review for this delicious spot... and yum. Go here for flavour filled meats, delicious pairings and just... right portion sizes. It's a shockingly affordable option for the quality and taste. Get a table now before this becomes toopacked to snag a spot. We did an impromptu birthday lunch here, and they were able to give us a rare walk in- and the singlecook/ server handled it with incredible grace (poor guy was probably NOT expecting instant customers given our timing). Theyare also very gluten free friendly, and can speak intelligently on risks and proper kitchen processes. They also had not one buttwo vegetarian options- jack fruit AND impossible burger, so you can take your carnivore and your vegan to the same table. Jackand Jill cocktail was a great pairing, with my brisket sandwich (with creamy coleslaw). A very good respect for quality overquality, with the flavour, not meat stuffing volume taking you to comfort satiety. Note: "seasonal vegetables" are their onlynot strong point, but it's been a pretty terrible year for all things green an growing, between climate and pandemic rationingand labour shortages. I think I was too busy stuffing smokey, flavour infused brisket on a potato bun in my mouth to care that abbq joint had just fine, not inspiring vegetable sides. I also suspect this to perk up a bit as we reopen as they clearlyunderstand delicious. Read more
