Absolutely unacceptable service went in for my morning coffee and asked to use the washroom before I ordered. The first lady at... the counter said yes no problem go ahead and then the ?owner? she claims said that I was not allowed to use the washroom unlessI was a paying customer and I was obviously at this location specifically to grab a coffee and breakfast. Hands down the best espresso in Vancouver. Alas we leave tomorrow but will fit in another visit. I mean, we are from Melbourne... and actual strong coffee with a crema is hard to find. Also, if you want the Canadian treat Nanaimo bar, they have a yummyversion. Best coffee. Best coffee! Read more

Questionable? I got a cup of lukewarm and diluted drip coffee on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and that?s my experience. (The... coffee per se is not bad.) There is also a long list of non-coffee sugary items that look like espresso drinks on the menu, butin fact they don?t have any coffee inside per staff explanations. Read more

I gave 5 starts for the cappuccino taste and the location in downtown. I am not exerted if I said this is the best cappuccino... taste I ever tried here in Vancouver and Canada generally. The place itself is so clean and relaxing. It?s located between olddowntown Vancouver buildings, with big glass windows you can watch people waking around and the city life style. Thanks for the vegan options. That's pretty rare for a coffee shop. I liked the banana muffins. The blended and prepared drinks... were expensive but on par with other coffee shops. Some of the baked goods were labelled "veg" but were not vegan. Are theytrying to label them as vegetarian? Dont baked goods typically contain milk and eggs? Isn't that redundant? Are you trying tospecify that there are no animal bones? (gelitin). Isn't it a bit confusing? One barista made me a dark chocolate mochachillo.It wasn't sweet at all and she said that I would have to pay extra to sweeten it how I expected. I didn't bother. Maybe youcould introduce paper straws. Also, sellong metal straws would be a great market, too. Read more
