The steaks are really good. The Chinese cuisines are pretty delicious. One issue I have is that the waitresses seem to be pretty... impatient with mandarin speakers. Read more

Came in here for a quick breakfast before work. It's a typical Cantonese diner breakfast. It serves Western and Cantonese items.... You can pick 2 items and it will be ~ 14 dollars. Got Italian omelette (like regular ham omelette but with more onions) Chickenand mushroom congee (very good) Rice rolls and peanut sauce (cravings) Beef instant noodles Fast services. Love this place sofar. Free Parking in the back!! Read more

Decent value for breakfast. The food is fine. Service is quick. Ice lemon tea is nice.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s pretty standard fare. The food is good and reasonably priced. Environment is not the... cleanest, but I’ve seen worse. Service is not good typically, but it was downright despicable on my latest visit. My serverspilled soy sauce all over my pants after bringing my dish to my table. We both looked at each other and she quickly turned andwalked away. I had to get her back to my table to get more napkins to clean up the mess, to which she was dismissive andunapologetic about it. To add insult to injury, there was even a noticeable strand of hair in my dish (clay pot chicken rice).I’ve been to my fair share of Asian restaurants with bad service, but this one takes the cake. I’m not coming back and notrecommending anyone curious to take a chance either. Read more

First time we were there, we enjoyed their lobster combo for dinner. The second time we went back, we were served pink chicken... with one of their noodle dishes … and we had a pregnant lady at the table. We sent it back and the staff said the chef agreeit was still pink but cannot make us the same dish so asked us to pick something else off the menu. We picked another noodledish and the staff said she won’t recommend that and that this other dish was safer. We suspect they had issues with some oftheir ingredients that they still tried to serve but the wait staff didn’t want the pregnant person to get sick so told uswhat was safe on the menu and what wasn’t. My partner still ended up with some GI issues. Will not be returning. Read more

Another solid cantonese food place. The chicken cutlet was juicy and tender, and the curry beef brisket was aromatic with a... slight hint of spice. The beef could be slightly more tender and fattier and the potatoes a little softer but it was stillpretty good and this problem is solved when you reheat the leftovers. The bean curd and broccoli dish was okay but nothingspecial. Read more

Van Tea Cafe is another great spot for Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant reminds me of the classic Asian cafes in Hong Kong.... However, their prices do not reflect the typical cheaper more affordable Asian cafes. Compared to other Asian Cafes in Vancouverand Richmond, their price is more steep. However, I do enjoy their e-fu noodles and steamed chicken claypot rice. Read more

I love Hong Kong style cafes. This one didn’t disappoint but the price point was close to $20 a dish. The cold hk milk tea was... delicious and the baked bolognaise was down right with chicken steak which was moist and tender. Parking was hard to find. Read more
