Our whole office goes here regularly. The hot food that you can order is generally good - fantastic eggs benny (though it is... quite disappointing that the lady who works there refuses to do substitutes as I really don't like back bacon and will alwaysswap out regular bacon when I can), great pulled pork sandwich, crispy fries or potatoes. However, avoid the wraps at ALLCOSTS. I have tried three different kinds and will never eat one again after the garbage I received today. The lettuce in themis brown and mushy, they lack any flavor, and the one I had today was next level bad. The "spicy" beef wrap didn't have even theslightest bit of spice (was supposed to have hot sauce and didn't), the meat on it was awful, it was greasy beyond belief, andthe only way I was able to scarf half of it down was by basically drinking my own hot sauce with it. The tellers on the groceryside are nice and helpful, the lady who usually works the till up at the cafe is generally miserable and the staff over therealways seem to be aloof about taking food orders. I come to the restaurant regularly for lunch as I work nearby and while the food is always good, customer service is not. This... morning I was exceptionally disappointed when I came in wanting to order a few breakfast sides as I have dietary restrictionsthat prevent me from eating potatoes and bread, which every pre-made breakfast option contains. The cashier, Heidi, categorically told me "there is no building your own breakfast here" and insisted I order a pre-made option and customize it toremove what I didn't want and add in what I did want, resulting in a more expensive meal than if I had just been able to orderthe side items I wanted. When I tried to explain this to her, she snapped yet again telling me she had other people to help.Needless to say I left, went up the street to A&W and was able to get the eggs and bacon I was after. Unbelievable to havereceived better attention at a fast-food restaurant than at an "upscale eatery". I'll be looking for other lunch options fromnow on. Read more

I was there late , they allowed dogs in to the market. I complained and the manager at the place didn't take me seriously. Yes ,... one of the dogs was a service dog and I understood that they are allowed in . However, the other one was not as it was prettyobvious that it was an ordinary dog accompanied by healthy lady. While everyone loves dogs. Nevertheless , some people hasallergies . others don't like dogs to be near their food for religious reasons. Read more

Wanted to treat myself to a brunch sandwich. Stood around waiting to order at the counter for a few minutes before I had to call... to someone ?hey, are you open?? before anyone acknowledged me. Then when I went to pay there is big sign saying ?Mimosas? with anice picture of a mimosa so I thought ?why not?? and ordered one, but the server looked at me weirdly and said we don?t reallydo those. She went over and checked with someone and eventually said yes we can do one but she made it seem like she was doingme a huge favour? I generally just didn?t feel very welcomed or very nicely taken care of. The sandwich was pretty great though.I liked the guy who said ?bon appetit? when he gave it to me that was cool. Read more

Food is great; coffee is not. This is a small location, so the market is not as well-stocked as the others, but, still, pretty... good for the size of it. I took my son for Sunday breakfast, at the cafe. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and theoatmeal was quite good, as well, especially with a sprinkling of dried apricot. The coffee was bitter, the worst vanilla latteI've ever had, no contest. I'm quite astounded how they made something so generically good taste so bad, but, wow, it washorrid. It's still a nice place to sit and eat a nice, hot meal - but possibly not breakfast, since breakfast for many of usincludes a palatable cup of coffee. Read more

This Urban Fare is pretty small and yet pretty efficient. You get all basic groceries and more. For example, they have a pretty... good cheese and deli counter. Unfortunately, in particular the organic vegetable and fruit section leaves a lot to be desired. On the other hand, it is a good place for lunch or after work to dine-in or take home a reasonably priced warm meal. And if youlike it sweet there is a good selection of pastries and cakes. The chocolate cake is always smiling at me. Most of the time Imanage to resist - :) Read more

Best grocery store in downtown, not only for organics but dairy, bakery and meat. I love cakes and the red velvet is my... favorite. Read more
