The University Golf Course has been around since 1929. This golf course is accessible to all levels of players and can be... walked or driven at your leisure. Here you have no stress for worrying about loosing your balls, because no ditches, no ponds,no for the balls over. This is a very traditional west coast golf experience with majestic, towering old growth trees and longnarrow fairways that anyone can play, then this is it. Read more

Used to be my favorite course in town but it's really gone downhill the past few years. Paid close to $90/round, no senior... rates for green fees/carts. Course conditions don't reflect the green fee price. Greens are shaggy and too slow to be chargingthat much. Tee boxes aren't level. Tee boxes on #6 were closed altogether. Pace of play was slow with no marshal in sight. Driving range is in need of some serious maintenance. Also don't enjoy them flipping the front & back 9s, you get the hardestholes first and it doesn't seem to have helped pace of play at all. All in all I'm sad, used to love this place. It's still anice course with lots of big beautiful trees, but it's a $60-70 track, not a $90+ one given the conditions, layout and pace ofplay. Better value elsewhere in the lower mainland. Read more

University Golf Club has a spacious green course perfect for a tournament as held today. As a visitor, I enjoyed the time inside... the club restaurant more than the outside green. Though the restaurant window, I obtained a better view of the course scenerywhile enjoying a delicious hot meal - deep fried Pacific cod and chips, squash soup, and a small pot of hot water - in a warmsetting and atmosphere. When we first saw the ceremony site at University Golf Club, we knew it was the perfect venue for us, with the cute gazebo,... little bridge over a stream, and the beautiful gardens. Joni, UGC’s Events Coordinator, was always quick to respond to ouremails whether it was by email or phone. She was organized and always provided clear information, whether it was for our weddingspecifically or the wedding tasting event. The Banquet Team, led by Naser and Tom, was also splendid. They were polite andefficient at our wedding reception and Tom in particular was very friendly to us and our guests. The quality of the food wasexceptional! Everything from the canapes to the prime rib to the late night tacos was delicious. Overall, we’re very pleasedwith the beautiful venue and the wonderful staff - highly recommended! Read more
