This place is a gem! It?s a mom?n?pop shop that serves up classic fried seafood as well as soups and stews at affordable prices... without compromising on quantity or quality. I loved the calamari - flavourful, lightly battered and appropriately tender andthe oyster stew included three large oysters. Nice terras to sit and enjoy good weather and eat your lunch The quality of food was good but compared to the high price of food... the portion was really small. The staff were nice and polite. The fish was excellent. Crispy and not too much batter. It was a bit salty but I'm not used to food having salt nowadays. The... fries was really great and fresh. Only had a few pieces due to dietary requirement. The server gave me excellent service, sheeven asked me if I like ice in my water. Not too many servers asked me that lately. Read more
Grabbed the lunch special available during 11:30am - 3pm. Which was breaded cod with tartar sauce also served with fries and... cole slaw We also got the breaded oysters. Definitely recommend grabbing this. Service was warm and welcoming. Read more
Ordered the classic fish and chips, it?s the best fish and chips i have ever had by far. The crispy skin has no taste of baking... soda (or alkaline taste) like how the usual fish and chips would taste like. This is a great little restaurant. They support the local market with some of their ingredients. They are very busy during lunch... and dinner rushes. They have lots of fish and chip options and some seafood options such as mussels, clams, chowders, andvarious seafood platters including scallops. The staff are super friendly and this is a family owned business. They do not takereservations and when the resturant is full they only provide takeout orders. If you go during busy times you may not get aseat. This place provided us with a tasty afternoon lunch. Read more
Resturant is not big and nothing fancy. Quite busy at lunch hour. Had the lunch special. Soup was great. The batter for the fish... was done perfectly. Fries was crispy and not soggy. No stale flavour from oil they deep fry with. Everything was very very good.Suprised at how good this is! 100% Better fish & chips than next door. Read more
