Reviews for The Wolf & Hound in Vancouver, BC
I've been a regular patron since the Summer. It's not the most Irishy of Irish pubs I've ever been too but it's fairly up there.... They are happy to host all sorts of groups. It was an extra treat dropping in on a Sunday and finding a Celtic fiddle jam there. It makes it a place for community, not just a business. Read more
Very cool traditional Irish pub. Friendly staff. I didn't have any food, just beers, but the selection was divine. The brunch... menu looked great. Will definitely return. Read more
Great place to go with a big group. Sometimes there is live music which can be quite bothersome, but the atmosphere it usually... top notch. Service is always amazing, and the food is pretty good too. Read more
the deep fried pickels were too fried and too hot, the poutine was really bad. my friend ordered a fish and chips that she... liked. i left 2/3 of my beer. Read more
Honestly can’t say good enough things about this place. I used to live in England and I have missed Guinness dearly since. I... was lucky enough to have Erika as my server tonight and she entertained not only my request for a custom Guinness drink but alsoan arbitrary photo judging context between and friend and myself. Both the service and standard of professional excellence thewolf and hound provides is honestly well exceeding of what I’ve experienced in Vancouver. I’ve hesitated in the past toleave a review because I was so fearful of having a sour experience, but Erika really did make it a night to remember. Forcontext, I asked Erika if I could post a photo of her so that people have a chance to recognize and appreciate her honestlywonderful service. Thank you! Read more
Got the Irish spice box and the wolf burger good feed would get it again
One of the few pubs in the area. Stout on tap and lots of 'Glen' malts are standard. Outside patio seating is a nice touch. Also... probably the first and only place that still has actual live music now. Clean washrooms and nice cozy ambience with well spacedtables. Nice little nooks and corners for dates and quiet conversation. Food was pretty normal, quite expensive even forKits/WPG. Literally the tiniest bruschetta I've ever had, and the server didn't agree to substitute the goat cheese for anyother one. Also they mentioned 10pm as the closing time on here and also outside the door, but several people were turned awaybeginning 8.30pm itself. I would have ordered more but didn't feel like it was a good idea to continue the eveninghere. Perhaps will repeat on a live music evening, probably with different servers and then see if a higher star rating is inorder. Read more
Great little Irish pub that a friend and I stopped by for dinner at. Got a good menu for pub food, both the pot pie and Mac &... cheese were great choices. They don't have mocktails which was a little disappointing but 7 Up on tap is always a bonus! Read more
