Been to so many great restaurants in Vancouver. Among the fierce competition and demanding customers, this place is a great one!... I would come back just for the dish ?Chicken? of the Sea - sea urchin hazelnut pate with squid ink brioche. Unpretentious decor,consistent high quality dishes, and great service. Highly recommended! We enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Having spent a long time reviewing the choices and trying to figure out what to... order, I got some very sound advice from one of their regulars. A young couple sitting a table over from us -- "Everything'sgood!" And so started our journey munching through the entire menu. Or rather as much as we could manage. My advice: Order oneof each, to share with your company and whatever you don't get to try on the first visit, pick up on the next trip. Read more

Celebrated my birthday and it was lovely. Chicken of the Sea is to die for. That squid ink brioche is so incredibly delicious.... Definitely our favourite dish from the tasting menu for 2. The Arctic Char came in as a close second because of its crispy skingoodness. I think TMR might just become one of our regular dinner spots ?? Read more

One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver. The food is always amazing and has so many unique or well crafted flavours. Been... here multiple times and I always get the pre made menu. The chicken of the sea is a must but everything is good. They do fishreally well and I think I may have had the most tender duck of my life! Great date spot. Funny how many good restaurants are ina sketchy part of town! Read more

Been here several times and still think the Chicken of the Sea is bomb. It's so good we usually order it twice (once as an appie... and second time for dessert). The jungle juice was nice to share with friend and served in a beautiful crystal bowl. Both thepork and duck were cooked to perfection--tender and melt-in-your-mouth. Lamb tartare--yum! We leave happy each and every timewe come. It's one of our favourite restaurants in the city. Highly recommend. Read more

If I?m reviewing strictly on food then this would be a 5 star review but I will ding a star for the service We received. I?m not... sure if it was an off day or something but when we first walked in and got seated the server told us we have a time limit of1.5hrs and they have later reservations coming. We checked our reservation confirmation email and the seating limit is 2.5hrs.Throughout the meal it seemed like they were really trying to rush us and at one point tried to clear our plates before we weredone with them. The food was delicious as always with the chicken of the sea being the highlight and always a fan favourite forus. Read more

This place was highly enjoyable. We arrived 30 minutes early, and we were able to be accommodated immediately. Each menu item we... ordered exhibited such delicate techniques, and presented well. The wait staff took the time to explain the concept of eachdish. Although, I wish a nice steak dish would be on the menu, the duck we ordered was an amazing surprise. Read more

We went for the dine out Vancouver menu specifically. It was delicious and did not disappoint. I am always in love and impressed... by a chef that can use cheaper and readily available ingredients to anyone and elevate a dish, especially in a five coursetasting menu. Loved the atmosphere and the feeling it gave off. The only thing I would say is, it was a little dark in the room.I understand what they were trying to achieve, but could use a little more light in the room to be able to see the gorgeous foodthey put in front of me.
