Went there with my family and we were impressed. Staff was friendly and food was good. We were seated right away and waitress... helped us with the menu. She answered our questions and familiarized us with their menu and the way they cook. We orderedPirate's feast with a lobster. Food came in bags, one bag of mussels, one bag of clams and the lobster, We got paper bibs,gloves and scissors to use. It was messy but the food was very tasty and we enjoyed it. Read more
Yet another adventure amidst Vancouver’s culinary scene! If you are craving seafood , and don’t mind getting your hands... dirty (pun not intended) head to this place. There were three of us and we had ordered the Pirate’ s Feast and we needed to-gocontainers! You can have mussels, lobsters, and crabs cooked in a sauce of your choice. There are three available. TheCaptain’ s Boil sauce turned out to be a favorite and went very well with mussels. The potatoes served as sides were butteryand hearty. Making your way through that big platter can be daunting but you get aprons, scissors, claw crackers, and gloves tohelp you out. Well they say that it was a lobster poutine but i didnt found a single piece on my poutine and just feel disapointed about that... the taste was good but for the price I was hoping to have at least a little but nothing just a nice sauce with a seafood taste. Read more

We were a little apprehensive at first given some of the poor reviews but definitely glad we tried this place out for ourselves!... It was delicious and we had a great experience. SERVICE Not sure why the other reviews say bad service because the servers werewonderful! They did seem quite busy (looked like 2 servers for the whole restaurant) but they were personable and vhelpful. FOOD Seeing other reviews complaining about the spice seems really silly - it’s a seafood boil so of course it’sgoing to be at least a little spicy. Cajun is crucial for this type of cuisine! It’s how they do it down south. If you don’tlike spice, try another cuisine lol We got the “luxury for 2” and that was the perfect amount of food for us two. Ours cameon a plate and the crab was delicious. Loved the lotus roots that were perfectly cooked. The corn was a bit bland but justsoaked it up in the sauce (we went mild which was just enough spice). Yes, the shrimps comes w head on and there’s no cutleryaside from the seafood cracker. Again, this is standard for seafood boils. We didn’t bother with gloves - best to just go allin! Overall, great experience and would come again. Read more
This is one of the better locations. Service and food quality always good and consistent. Staff are very pleasant and... accommodating. Always a go to seafood ???? ???? ???? ???? place for us. The freshest and sweetest tasting seafood that is unmatched by anywhere else. The captains mix sauce heightened the seafood. The... shrimps, mussels, squid and especially the lobster was tender and juicy and well coated in the delicious sauce. The corn andpotatoes add to the boil and help keep you full. Definitely worth the trip to Captains Boil. Wash it down with some Soju for theultimate experience. Read more
