Reviews for Thai Town Restaurant in Vancouver, BC
False advertising! Prices displayed on their window were NOT the same when it was time to pay for our food (it was extremely... overpriced). Also, their mango dessert was served completely RAW, it was not even edible! I feel like the owner was just beingmoney hungry and did not care about their customers. I would NOT come here again nor recommend this place to anybody. Read more
Ordered the massaman curry expecting a thick curry, with soft potatoes, this was rather disappointing! Literally there was... specks of fish , fancy cut sweet potato and carrots and a very thin sauce. It was edible, but this is one of the places Iwouldn't go back to. Read more
The papaya salad is so good, however the pad Thai is a bit too sweet. But the cashier is very friendly and nice! Would love to... try other dishes next time! Read more
A small family owned business. The wait time can be quite a while after ordering. If you're ordering Red Panang Curry the wait... is totally worth it. Definitely one of the best I've had in Vancouver. The chicken noodles was okay. Spring rolls were crispybut the dipping sauce was all over the plate. The ambience is not great if you're dinning in but it's definitely worth fivestars for the red Panang curry. Read more

And they are so kind. Honestly i was really satisfied when i eitherordered online or had my food there. They really deserve more costumers. Read more
A delicious feast for a fantastic price of $14.99 for the dinner combo! I got the Pad Thai ?????? which came with two veggie... spring rolls, two wontons and salad. I wolfed the whole lot with no regrets, but gosh I was stuffed afterwards. The staff hereare super friendly, talented and apparoachable. This is a very quaint, authentic and home-style cooking vibed joint which isvery welcoming and gives me great nostalgia of awesome experiences and everyday Thai culture. Their menu caters extremely wellfor veggie options, offering all the great Thai classics and in which all of them are super tasty. They also have prettyfrequent lunch and dinner combo offers for different types of dishes to give you a good bang for your buck and a big feeding.Although my Pad Thai ?????? was very tasty, my only slight complaint is that the noodles were not fully cooked and therefore abit on the chewy side. Apart from that, a fantastic dining experience and would definetely recommend. Khob khun ka ?????????!! Support local business! Read more
Now, this is what I would call a "hole in the wall" restaurant which, upon entering, added to its authenticity. There is very... limited space to dine in, which signaled to me that most of their customers either ordered delivery or to-go. I called to placemy order, but no one picked up, so I ended up taking the walk to this restaurant - which I randomly picked from a slew of otherthai restaurants. The gentleman who took my order spoke very little english, but was friendly and patient with me as I tried tofigure out all of what I wanted (I thought I would remember - but alas, my brain had clocked out for the day). I ended upplacing an order for two soups (thai wonton and crispy chicken with noodle), chicken pad thai (thai noodles, egg, bean sprout, topped with ground peanuts), and the thai salad with peanut sauce (sliced chicken, fresh crisp lettuce with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, carrots, and egg with peanut sauce), which they cooked from scratch. The pad thai was *chef's kiss*, the salad was lightand refreshing (though the peanut sauce was more reminiscent of a sort of coconut curry taste and consistency). I enjoyed everyitem I ordered and enjoyed the fact that I introduced my friend to a new thai spot. We had enough food to last us 2-3 days, which is a nod to their generous portion sizes. I definitely recommend with the caveat that you should order ahead to reduceyour wait time. Read more
