Pad Thai BKK is rice noodle ( 3/4 cm wide) stir fried with pork, deep fried tofu ( 3/4cm × 1 inch), a little bit fried eggs, in... tamarind sauce, topped with tiger prawns & cilantro, raw sprouts & crushed peanuts on the side. If you're thinking about trying it, go, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. I've been recommended this place a bunch of... times, and finally my friend suggested we go. They got the yellow curry and I the BKK pad thai.. 10/10 for both by casual thaidining standards. The noodles were fresh and the flavour profiles for both dishes were full and complex enough (not a boring padthai or curry). We'll be back! Read more

We ordered from Thai Basil a few times and the quality was always been hit or miss. Lately more of a miss. Quality and... presentation have definitely gone down and seems like the food is rushed and thrown into containers. Just convenient as we liveclose. But last night we ordered pineapple rice, Pad Thai and PAd Prik Khing. The rice was stale, the beef was rubbery and thepad thai was dry and didn't taste like anything. I actually felt sick after eating. I decided to politely call them to let themknow. The girl that picked up honestly just didn't care. She asked if we are calling to order again or just camplin... We willnot order here again and would not recommend anyone their food. There a a few other places nearby that are just a bit moreexpensive but the quality is way way better. Read more
I really liked this place. My standard for Thai food is always Pai or Sukhothai in Toronto but those places are on their own... level. Thai Basil not only smelled delicious but tasted amazing. The flavours were well balanced and everything was veryfresh. I recommend going here when in Kits. Read more
Good food for the price- quite tasty but a little too much sugar for my taste, kind of killed the spice that I would expect from... good Thai food. That said, food was tasty and more than satisfactory for the price considering the portion they give you aswell. Cashew chicken and Tom Yum were great. Pad Gra Bow was a little salty for my taste. Quaint and well priced! This has been an experience in quick, affordable, and well portioned meals. The pad thai is great, and... even with limited seating (4 tables?) people shuffle in and out relatively quickly. Love it. Read more
