Best place for deals without sacrificing quality or portion size. The chicken teriyaki was really good, perfect crisp outer edge... and chicken was not over cooked. The Cali roll is big and dense and the salmon slices were thick. The sushi wow combo is verygood too it?s very filling and comes with miso soup. Both were around $10 and is one of my favourite sushi spots. Read more

Edit: Price increased recently for many menu items, please check the price as some went up by ~$2 Literally one of the best... Sushi Restaurants in Vancouver! Location is pretty small and can get busy during lunch hours, but the restaurant itself &ambience is really nice. Highly recommend the bento box combos which have phenomenal value in cost. The sushi and teriyaki issuper tasty. The server, Lucy, was super friendly and overall service was amazing. 100% recommend this place! Read more
The restaurant is relatively small and seems to only seat about 12-15 people. The sushi was amazing and creative do yourself a... favor and order the "Mango Tango" or some of their creative rolls. Their dragon and caterpillar rolls were okay but nothingspecial. This was quite literally the best sushi I?ve had! Visiting from the states, we were craving sushi and wanted to grab a quick... bite. The service is amazing! Even with every seat full they were speedy with taking orders and getting them out. The prices make it look like a cheap basic sushi place, but this is legit good stuff! The menu is good value all around, but the... prices for the combos in particular are insane, it's tons of sushi for the price of what could be one roll at comparablerestaurants. Also the menu is huge with lots of interesting options, including special rolls with brown and black rice, and manyvegetarian rolls. Sushi was what I was interested in, but there are plenty of entrees besides just sushi. I ordered and pickedup takeout for a hang with some friends. I changed my mind about the roll I wanted in the middle of the call to order and thenhad to call back to add something I missed, but the person on the phone stayed very friendly and patient, which is amazingbecause I would've given myself a headache. I got the Black Tiger Roll and a Wakame Salad. I was drawn to this mainly because Iwanted to try something with black rice, and the wasabi tobiko sounded interesting. It was very good! Besides just a nicecombination of flavours, the ingredients seemed to be of good quality. The wakame was just what you'd expect but it was doneright. Again, both the portion size and quality are above what you might expect at this price. I don't live near the Marpolearea at all which is a shame because I would love to keep coming back and trying different rolls. If we ever have a get togetherat this friend's place again I will definitely be suggesting this place again though, and I don't think anyone will object sincewe were all really impressed. Read more
