First time Customer ?? ???? First walking in was greeted, and atmosphere was quite nice with many tables. - Food was good and... only thing is that the rolls could have been made better. The last couple rolls were breaking apart. - Salmon sashimi was biggerthan most places though didn't seem too too fresh. - Negitoro cone was yummy and loved it. - Staff was nice and asked aboutrefill tea often, though they could improve on where to put the food when they put it on the table. Superb quality. Just as good as the one on Oat! Their portions are generous. They were able to keep good qualities... throughout all dishes. Even the Don Katsu I was expecting to be less exciting but I was wrong. And every in my party werehappy for what they paid for! Keep it up Mura! Will see you guys soon! Read more

We have been coming to Sushi Mura River District since it opened. Up until recently we have never been disappointed. Two of the... last three visits have been disappointing with this third visit being atrocious. Almost every roll that had avocado was brown,and not just a little brown but rotten brown. It begs the questions of how could a chef making these miss this? Or do they servethis for take out hoping you don?t notice till its to late? Or hoping you don?t care enough to complain. I also wonder if theymake it early because we phoned our order in at 2pm for a 5:45pm pick up. I don?t know what has happened to Sushi Mura?s qualitythe past few months, but I will be looking elsewhere for my Sushi take out until they fix this quality issue. It was fairly busy when we visited on an early Sunday afternoon. We were able to sit down right away but it took a bit of time... before we were served tea. Sushi Mura is a staple for us, it's affordable and tasty. The tuna sashimi here is consistent, it'snever been too fishy or metal in taste. I find the sushi rice here softer than other places. A great sushi restaurant in the River District of South East Vancouver. Fresh fish with large portions and decent pricing. My... only negative would be that their chicken karage is actually deep fried chicken wings. Beware this place is constantly busywith lots of take out orders too. Sometimes there can be a long wait even for take out so order ahead and/or line up before youstart feeling hungry if it?s during peak times! Read more

First time here with friends who have come often and loved it always, I would agree. The service was prompt and friendly. The... sushi was fresh and well portioned. I personally had the spicy scallop and awesome rolls and both were awesome (pun intended).Everything looks fabulous and no complaints were heard from anyone. I will definitely be back. Read more
