Order uber eat from this place. Wow its shockingly bad! 1. Portion was super small for a Katsu Curry Rice. $16.50 2. Rice was... cooked poorly its all mushed together like eating sticky rice cake. 3. This pork katsu portion was so small and poorly cooked.Tasted like super market microwave dinner. 4. Fried croquettes are not seasoned and tasted super blend and flavorless. I shouldhave just cook at home. Biggest mine I have stepped on for a while now. Read more

Everything was delicious! We had the shrimp wrap and chicken Katsu set. The ingredients and care put into the food were... exceptional! Hiro and Yui are a real joy to speak with. I'll definitely try to come here every chance I get, thank you! (Morephotos to come). Edit: I am basically a regular here, wonderful place! Definitely recommend the spicy teriyaki beef wrap butyou'll be happy with whatever you order! Unfortunately, they now have to close their physical location. Very sad that this restaurant is closing down and I did not dine here sooner! I learnt about this gem via the Vancouver is... Awesome page. It's cool that the owner is related to Tojo from Tojo's, and you can definitely tell just by how delicious thefood is here. My friend and I shared a few things: The fries were crispy, nicely thin and cut, and had a lot of flavor. Thebeef teriyaki wrap surprised me and was my favorite item. The beef was so juicy, fatty, and tender. I liked the sauce that wasused and the wrap was full of flavor. The deed fried chicken knees were a good size as I'm used to the ridiculously tiny onesyou get from dim sum. These were worth it! The prawn curry only came with two pieces so I don't recommend sharing but it hadplent of curry sauce and rice. My friend who is half Japanese said it was very similar to the one her mom makes at home. Youcan never go wrong with miso soup, and the one here is packed full of onions. Hiro himself came out to greet guests at thetables which was a nice gesture. He was really friendly and we had a good laugh with him! Sad that Super Hiro will be closingbut I'm looking forward to his next venture and will be following closely! Read more

Really nice staff and great food! Portions aren't the biggest though but the nice environment makes it up! Will come again!

Tried the karrage set and the pork cutlet curry. Both were good. Cutlet is different than other places as the breading is thin... and crispy and also sliced diagonally. We also tried the garlic salt fries which were tasty and crispy. The fries were verycheap as well. The waitress was very polite. It seems this place could use more customers but for now I'll consider it one ofthe hidden gems in the west side Read more

Yummy sets and nice environment! We had deep fried fish and shrimp set, and ginger pork set. Both yummy and the presentation... were lovely. We have also ordered a miso egg plate appetizer. It’s really good too. The owner couples were super nice. We willgo back for sure to try their other dishes. Read more
