They always run of ingredients. You want the Tex Mex bread? Unlikely to get it here. They've run out of cheese, lettuce and... several other ingredients. Terrible store, go the one in the UBC village Read more

The service was terrible and unhygienic. I am still so disappointed with service and the sandwich that I'm writing a review for... the first time ever, even though it's been a week since my visit. I know my review will be long so commenting on the hygienicfirst, right after I ordered my sandwich, I saw a few flies crawling over the bread in the display case. Ruins my appetite alittle but I was really tired so I thought whatever. It's not like I haven't seen flies before. Anyways, the first time I havebeen to this Subway was 3 years ago when I started school at UBC. I was so unsatisfied with my experience, I never ordered fromthis Subway in the past 3 years. I decided to give this Subway another shot cause I was with friends and thought I was justbiased with my one previous experience. Turns out I was even more disappointed. I asked for an italian cheese FOOT long breadfor my sandwich. They took out a fresh batch of the Italian cheese but the lady proceeds to give me 2 already cut 6' pieces. Iasked if I could get the foot long one but she said it's the same. I understand that they need to used old stuff first but I'mordering a FOOT long, not two 6'. When it came to the vegetables & meat, I was hoping the lady AT LEAST make it like a FOOTlong sandwich but nope. She puts the toppings on as two 6' sandwiches. I know what you're thinking, isnt it the same and thatI'm just being petty? You could say that, but making two 6' means less toppings in the middle where the two 6' split. It's themiddle bite that is the best bite of every Subway sandwich! I asked the lady if she could at least put some more vegetables inthe middle where the 6' split and she pretended she didn't understand and continued saying two 6' is the same as a Foot. Atthis point I wanted to leave but being the timid person that I am I just couldn't. After I paid, the subway ladies were talkingbehind my back suggesting how difficult of a customer I was. I felt sick to the stomach. I've or Read more

I ordered the Southwest Steak and Avocado in 6 inch and because I don't like mine toasted, I asked them to please put mayo on... the bread. They kept dumping mayo on the cheese.... and as ridiculous as it may sound, I had to repeatedly ask them to put iton the bread. They then asked "Is that okay?" while pointing to the mayo on the cheese to which I responded "I guess it'll haveto be won't it." -- They then tried to charge me extra for the Avocado at which point I said "I've ordered the Steak and Avocadosandwich, why is the Avocado suddenly extra?" at which point it suddenly was not extra any longer. I hate to gripe about Subwayof all places, (really, expectations are not high to begin with) but the one in the LIFE building needs to just go. Its anembarassment to the chain, and that's pretty bad all things considered. Read more

Decided to get a post workout snack here at Subway (after seeing that Subway Tuna has chicken and pork in it, EW). After looking... at the macros online, I decided to get a Subway Caesar Chicken Wrap. The server was rude, and it was not busy at all. I do notusually eat at Subway, so I asked her, "What cheese do people usually get with this wrap?" She simply and rudely ignores it andsays "White Cheddar or Shredded Cheese". "Shredded" I say. Seeing the person in front of me get a decent amount of shreddedcheese, she did not do the same for me. The amount of cheese in the wrap was negligible and untastable. When I asked "Can I justhave a little bit more cheese?" Server says "That will be double cheese." So I simply say "No thank you." Another women thenhelps me with the shredded lettuce and the sauces. She seems extremely confused and unwilling to work in this environment. Keepin mind it was only 6:15pm. She does the same thing, giving me a pitiful amount of lettuce, in which I have to ask for more. She was extremely impatient with my vegetable choices, waiting for me to finish up fast. She then proceeds to miss the sauce onmy wrap and get it all over the side. Not a single once of care was put into that wrap. I also see her wrapping other peoplesubs in a very bad fashion, with all the toppings leaking out every time. Someone at this location should retrain her as it isdefinitely affecting the business and quality of the food. The only person notable of praising tonight was the cashier. She wassweet and very friendly, but the vegetable lady and the bread lady were simply not legends. I will be going to Starbies for therest of my post workout meals, and I'm not capping when I say that. Read more

I?ll start by saying the staff here are the sweetest. They?re slow cause they?re a little older for the most part, but they?ll... go out of their way to make sure you get what it is you?re asking for. The food itself is what one might expect- subway is achain and it offers customizable sandwiches within limits. The sandwiches are priced fairly and the quality is akin to what onewould expect with that. A good go to if you?re unsure of what to grab! Read more

Oh wow. They are slow. Five students in front and took them a good twenty minutes. The cheese of my sandwich got all over the... paper after being heated and they had to reheat it taking longer time. Read more

Terrible service and quality of sandwiches. I'm a loyal subway fan and this is the worst Subway I've ever seen in my life. Slow... service and inconsistent portion quantities. Read more
