Great place for a unique experience. 80% of their high tea items were good, the other 20% not so much. The staff are very... friendly and courteous. The pricing is very high relative to quantity. The tea is delicious. Parking is not free, butaccessible on the side of the road. I hope they decrease the prices so that more folks can take part of this great experience. Read more
Aaaaah, this place is so cute and lovely!! The staff were amazing and super friendly, the food was delicious and a great... selection of tea! My only complaint was the amount of cream with the scones, as an English person....that was definitely notenough ???????? Hold on to your leaves and put the kettle on, because this is an experience steeped in casual decadence! I took my wife here... for her birthday, as she's an avid afternoon tea enthusiast (she gets high on high tea, one might say) and we were soon stoned(or sconed) out of our minds with afternoon delights. The venue is lovely, paying tribute to the elegant ritual while injectinga lively atmosphere as evidenced by its cheerful, energetic staff and unique neighborhood vibes. It's wonderful how the slightsize of the various sandwiches and pastries belies their gustatory punch and, speaking as a 1.85-metre, 95 kg (6'1, 210 lbs foryou Imperialists) human, I was well and truly sated. True, there could have been a bit more cream provided for our scones, butperhaps it's for the best. All in all, a dining experience worth repeating! Oh, and tea. The tea was good, too. Read more
