I was enticed by the good prices but the quality is definitely not fresh or as good as some other sushi places. I got the yam... roll, Negitoro roll and the spicy chopped scallop. As you can see the spicy chopped scallop has a grainy brown sauce on top.Not spicy by any means and the texture of it throws me off. The scallops are also just whole big pieces and have no sauce, mayoor masago. The taste of just raw scallop is quite off putting with the grainy sauce. The other rolls were okay but the qualityin general is so??? Everything was a bit mushy ?? hope I don?t get a stomach ache. Read more

I've always liked the generous portions, quick service and great value. It's a great place for day to day sushi. Their prices... have gone up, but do everyone else's so not s knock there. A few Sundays ago, we had a 8 people group looking for a place tohave late dinner ( around 8pm ( and they were able to accomodate us inside of that small place, getting tables and chairstogether, that was awesome from the staff. On the food side, I wish they cut down on the sushi rice , but I guess that's partof the charm and the value as you do get big portions. But for the health-conscious people or the ones on a diet a, sashimisolves this. Read more

This is the place if you are looking to save a few dollar and want basic rolls. The rice is heavy and will fill you up quick

I visited for the first time because I was recommended by an acquaintance. Even though it was a take-out restaurant, there were... many people waiting. I ordered dynamite rolls, rainbow roll and hamachi. When I first opened the box, the plating was notpretty, but the amount was so large that I was full even if I ate a roll, and the sashimi was also cut very thickly.I'm going tovisit again when I want to eat sashimi:) Read more

Not the best sushi I have ever had - fairly average however price wise excellent. I ordered the salmon sashimi (this one was a... bit cheaper than other sushi restuarants), miso soup and the light combo with the Alaska roll. Was slightly disappointed withthe Alaska roll as there was not a lot of salmon and the crab was not as flavourfull. Read more

AMAZING sushi for a affordable price! A true hidden gem, used to go to the one on Cambie but started coming to the Fraser... location. Only complain I have is the tipping option seems quite forceful and not optional for takeout's. Although I don'tmind tipping I just feel like it should be more of a option for the guests. None the less thanks for the great food! Read more
