I came to this place looking specifically for Chilaquiles, and I gotta say, although a bit different from the original dish,... they were good. Thay have a bed of black beans, they come with a poached egg, and you can add chorizo if you'd like. The saucewas great and rich with a bit of spiciness. The rest of the menu is mostly egg dishes for breakfast. About the place, it islike most restaurants in Vancouver, it has a limited space (I advise groups of maximum 4 people), urban glam, with quite astrange Mexican/Canadian menu. Service is a bit slow but attentive, but there is usually a line to get there, you gotta put yourname down on a list and they will call you outside, no text messages, so it is uncomfortable on cold days. Came here suggested by my co-worker. We?re supposed have brunch/lunch today. It?s a cute little spot. I ordered chorizo... breakfast and co-worker order salmon benny. I didn?t specifically find the food special or really good but I liked having thechorizo option for brunch instead of having an ordinary menu. I did find some interesting stuff on the menu but didn?t have theopportunity to try it. Maybe next time! Also noise level was very very high. It?s on a busy street and lots of foot traffic aswell. Worst food I have ever had. Uncooked, tasteless, bland and full of oil. When I complained they didn?t even made an effort to... correct except saying we can replace the potatoes when the whole dish was disgustingly oily. Won?t recommend. Read more

Dropped in to grab some brunch to go and the staff were super friendly on the phone and in-person also. My Cochinita Eggs... Benedict was also super delicious and high quality. Read more

Defiantly recommended. We had cappuccino and mocha I loved it. For meals we ordered basic breakfast, quinoa bowl, and black bean... Benedict. The eggs were poached really well, the cubed potatoes were seasoned perfectly. The staff were nice and friendly, thewaiting time was only 5 minutes. Read more

Saturday Feb.19th, 2022. We were on the lookout for a new brunch spot to try out and found Roundel Cafe. Small restaurant... that's good for parties up to 4. We were greeted by friendly staff that made us feel at home. My 2 sons ordered each, the beefburger and Croque Nutella French Toast to themselves. My sons are toothpicks but inhaled the dishes. They loved the Frenchtoast. I had their special n my wife ordered Eggs Bennie with pulled pork. Food was delicious and presentation was pleasing tothe eye. Salsas had a nice bite to them and my wife love the side salad because of the dressing. Very happy with our meals andwill definitely come back. I want to try out the Croque Nutella French toast myself. My sons wouldn't share theirs. Read more

I absolutely loved their challah nutella french toast! It?s a must try if you?re a nutella lover. Their savoury dishes could use... a little bit more seasoning though. Overall liked the menu and the atmosphere, and will go back. Read more

Awesome brunch and good service. Came here on October 30th when there was a trick or treat event on Hastings. Staff handled... guests and trick or treaters well, it was busy. Good brunch and good service in a laid back venue. I will be back for sure. Read more
