Some unique offerings and quite tasty food. Pretty good atmosphere and liked the veranda seating. Seasoning on food was well... adjusted. Personal favorite was the Sea Urchin Donabe Rice. It would be nice to return and try more. Read more
Had the uni omakase and it was a wonderful experience. All the food was made exceptionally well. They also asked us for the... occasion and provided a complementary cake. They did not cheap out with the Polaroid film as it was the big wide ones. Thestaff personally decorated our photo. I know the extra might seem very small but it really adds onto the whole experience. Willdefinitely come back to try their other menu. Read more
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Downtown. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your... experience. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy istheir main priority. Food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we hadwhile in Downtown. Definitely fine dining. It can be expensive but worth it. Highly recommend! One of the must try when you visit Vancouver! The sashimi taste really fresh & have the best presentation I have ever seen ???? ... the staff were very professional and attentive which I greatly appreciated! It’s worth to mention that their drinks menu isreally interesting. We ordered their sake which paired really well with our food! I’ve ordered lots of times on Uber due to the Covid-19 , the food was always delicious and well-packed. Was really looking... forward to try in the restaurant ,after 1 year finally got chance to go ,the food was delicious as I expected. Kobe wagyu & UniAburi Nigiri was the best nigiri I’ve ever had! Otoro blue fin deluxe seafood bowl was great. the otoro and all the seafoodwere fresh, although it costs $63 but was definitely worth it ! The portion of Corn and brussel sprouts karaage was large andtaste good too. Agedashi tofu with mushroom sauce was very special, served in a sizzling hot stone bowl . Tonkatsu teishoku andsnow crab on the egg were just average. the food was undeniably delicious and the presentation was great for sure, but we werevery disappointed with their service. We booked the table at 3:45pm, was only 2 tables including my table! Which was not busy atall, but our waitress were not attentive at all . She was wearing a poker face all the time :/ just dropped off the food on thetable wherever without any explanation . I’d rather order it on Uber in the future…. Read more
I've been in Vancouver my whole life and I was extremely sad I only came to this restaurant for the first time recently. I wish... I came sooner! The food was amazing and top notch quality. The atmosphere was a lot different than I imagined, in a good way. It's a very casual place, which I love. The food is very elevated and tasted amazing. The food here is AMAZING!! My wife and I are huge uni and sushi lovers and this place did not disappoint. We have so much fresh... fish and skilled Japanese chef’s at home in Hawaii and this place is now in our top 5! On top of that, the staff is extremelyattentive and kind.
