I have never given any business bad rating other than this one. Our family took dinner here, meat was not fresh, noodles taste... like frozen and reheat. All of us vomitted and spent 4 hours in Burnaby hospital at midnight after dinner. Likely food poison.We were scared of eating pho for years after this incident. Strange they are still open. A very spacious restaurant (good for large gatherings) which has been renovated with the addition of Jazen Tea products (bubble... tea, etc). OUTSTANDING SERVICE! The ladies there were lovely, calm, and reassuring. They even offered us special deals and made us feel at... home. They went way above and beyond. When the food came out, it was better than expected. Though I had better the nightbefore, the food was better than most places. The washroom was clean, and the inside was cozy. Usually we come here for late night dinners. This place has renovated and it is better. It doesn't have a strong smell anymore.... Everything is clear so far. New napkin holders and new style of having chopsticks, before it was exposed thus had grime.Although they need now to figure out how to not have lots of garbage. Anyway we had a good meal here. Place is huge and has asection for parties. Food is so-so, not the best but good enough to be full. Didn't have time to take a pic of theirbathroom. -2 still has a smell :( bathroom is outdated just a bit and smoothies and drinks are not good. Don't offer not gooddrinks pls. Old Vancouverites go way back to 1990s with this Pho Hoa. Let's just say that they held the awesome thrown, but nose dived to... oblivion several times and back. At best, the revamped menu with drinks was still mediocre BUT today, the food was awesome. Thepho was tasty and there were cheap combos too. However, the new server Van made all the difference. I could not believe how oneperson lifts the entire amosphere. Years of hostile service. She was helpful and on the ball. I hope this these improvementswill stay! Read more
