I love Papaya Hut! I eat here all the time, both eat-in and take out. My favourites are the Green Chicken Curry and the Sweet... and Sour Chicken. They are mindful of my gluten-free diet and serve consistently delicious food. Plus, the service is veryfriendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Read more

Quality has gone down. Use to be our favorite for the cashew chicken but recipe has changed (soy sauce now?) & even the peanut... sauce is different. Won't be returning. Read more

I really wanted to like it because of the great location, polite service , (they seem like really nice people working there) and... great overall atmosphere, but that was maybe the worst Pad Thai I?ve ever had. It was over sauced to the point of soupiness andthe noodles were slimy. The scrambler egg had a weird mush texture. Not in any way a traditional Pad Thai - no bean sprouts orgarlic chives and yet zucchini? I could taste ketchup more than I could tamarind. Read more

A pleasant surprise for a good price! My partner and I were visiting from Toronto, where we live downtown and have access to... many "hole in the wall" type restaurants within walking distance. I had a good feeling about this one, and we decided to pop in.Though I agree with previous reviewers that the cuisine is not authentic Thai?in fact, seems to have more of a Szechuan style toit?it was nonetheless delicious with a pleasant amount of heat. We ordered the ginger beef and the prawns with basil leaves, thelatter of which we highly recommend for the amazing sauce and generous helping of excellently stir-fried onions, peppers andmushrooms. I'm only giving 4 stars and not 5 for some nit-picky reasons: 1) the spring rolls we ordered could have used morefilling, and 2) no liquor licence; we really would have appreciated a cold beer with our meal. Our whole dinner, which includedtwo orders of coconut rice, still only came to $50. Read more

This is a fantastic restaurant! We usually get shrimp pad Thai & ginger beef. Lately we have had the fried rice with chicken... and are very pleased with the flavour and large chunks of chicken- not square little cubes you find at some places. It's agreat place & I highly recommend. Read more

Ordered via DoorDash. Taste is actually OK. But..., why would any restaurant make curry, not providing rice? It is very rich,... and we end up having 3 heavy entree without a plain rice. Recommend to have add on option, or at least note to customer that itdoesn?t come with rice, so we are aware. (Delivery missing utensil). Read more

Dinner combos have great value, you get a chicken satay, a spring roll, salad, rice and an item from your choice from an... interval of the menu. My absolute favourite is the ginger beef, but the squid with hot sauce is also great! It is usuallyquiet, a los of people order to go. Excellent underrated spot! I recently tried the spicy shrimp soup, and it is very good. Read more
