For me it's like stepping into a time capsule and going back 30+years to when I came here with my friends for still the best... breakfast in Vancouver. Prices have changed, but that's to be expected. The cost of 3 HUGE blueberry pancakes with ample whippedbutter and loads of syrup is still under $10.$9 to be exact, still I can't finish barely 2! Read more

Love this place. Yeah, you have to deal with some of the issues of the DTES, but this diner is worth it. Grace is great, the... food is good, and the prices are low. We really liked our lunch here. Read more

Gorgeous old diner full of original fittings. It's no longer in its prime but it's full of character and clean. The staff is... wonderful. The menu is classic diner fare without an overabundance of choices. Food is cheap and delicious. You do need tonavigate through homeless people on the street outside but don't let that deter you from visiting this gem. They are just peopledoing their best to get through their days. No one even asked me for spare change. 12/10 would go back. Read more

Classic dive diner. Flies a buzzin and lots of grease but look around, you aren't exactly "in Kansas" anymore. Best value for... a dirty breakfast, and a truly nostalgic restaurant. Read more

Got the House Burger. It's only $10 tax included, great tasting burger for a great deal ???? Loved the crunch of the onion... rings. Saw Ovaltine Cafe on the list of oldest Vancouver restaurants and just had to come try it out. Loved the decor and feelinside, feels like I stepped back in time. Location is easy to get to, some interesting characters outside but felt totallysafe. Read more

Not Cactus Club, Browns, Earls or any other tacky Vancouver chain. This is an OLD SCHOOL DINER. It?s cheap, a little grimy, but... full of charm. They don?t make places like this anymore. Thank god this one has stood the test of time. Read more
