This place is one my favourite spots to have some Italian food, followed by a walk to the kits beach, or takeout to be eaten on... the beach. Pastas are phenomenal, pizzas even better! The staff are very friendly and the service is pretty fast. Read more

I thought I'd great myself tonight and go all out on a delivery for dinner. Gnocchi, tiramisu and a cocktail to wash it down. I... was greeted by tiny, and I mean tiny portions. I've been to enough high end restaurants to know that if you make a smallportion, the flavour better be good. Sadly, not here. The picture is of the $11 tiramisu I got, with lip balm for comparison. Igot a freaking corner piece with half the bottom missing even. Never ordering from Nook again. Disappointing from all angles. Read more

My friend and I had planned to go to Nook and walked in on a Tuesday around 5:45 with no wait. We had no idea what to expect but... asked for recommendations and wow, we were impressed! We got these three items: 1) rigatoni boscaiola 2) mushroom pizza 3)whipped ricotta crostini The whipped ricotta crostini is life changing and my friend and I were thoroughly impressed as eachflavour balanced each other out so well - hints of sweetness and crunch, yet the black pepper and ricotta made it savouryenough! 10/10 would highly recommend getting as it is unlike any other. *chefs kiss* ????????????????? The rigatoni boscaiolawas incredible as well. The pasta was cooked to perfection coupled with an amazing mushroom sauce and sundried tomatoes tocomplement the rigatoni. ?????? The mushroom pizza is definitely a thinner type of pizza and we actually had to rollup or foldto eat. It was still very tasty and we were also given chilli flakes to add as well which gave it the right amount of spicinessif needed. Delicious food and great service! This location is our go-to spot - It?s clean, spacious, and there usually isn?t much of a... wait. We started with the chicken liver crostini which was packed with flavour and just so good. I?ll probably be reorderingthis dish every time I come back! For our mains we almost always pick something off of their daily special menu. This time, thepasta was orecchiette with roasted corn and double smoked bacon and the pizza was a tomato base with roasted garlic, red onion,and double smoked bacon. The pasta didn?t have too much bacon but it was still delicious and was a pretty light dish. The pizzahad a nice smokey flavour and was my preferred main of the night. Over our many visits, Nook has been consistent in their foodand service. We always finish our meal feeling satisfied and happy, which is why this place has easily become one of ourfavourite spots to enjoy some nice Italian food. Read more
