The main issue I had with this restaurant is how long it took for our food to arrive. We sat down for dinner and ordered around... 6pm. Based on my photo time stamps, the sashimi platter arrived at 6:26pm (26mins), and the tempura arrived at 6:42pm (42mins).Neither of these dishes are ones that I would expect to have such a long waiting time for. The rest of the food started arrivingmore quickly at 6:54pm, almost an hour after we arrived. What also bothered me more was it seemed there was a constant flow offood and service towards the private room near the front of the restaurant in comparison. There was even one plate which lookedlike a whole crab on a sashimi platter that the staff member placed on a nearby table, took a picture of the dish on hispersonal phone, then brought the dish to the private room. I assume that room was ordering some special/expensive dishes thatseem to warrant special service and treatment. The restaurant was also not particularly busy at the time we arrived, as therewere at least 6 other empty tables, so I don?t believe the slow service was due to an excessive number of guests. Food wise, when it arrived, the quality was okay. The parmesan beef rolls didn?t taste like they were just seared on top as it was coolwhen eating, and the salmon oshi had very dense, tightly packed rice. Price wise as well, it came out to around $250 after tipbetween the 5 of us this evening. Overall, price, service and quality would make me want to avoid this restaurant in general,in favour of other good Japanese restaurants in the future. Read more

A good place to try if you looking for food with beautiful presentation. We went this place for a celebration, all the details... in restaurant delivers a creative vibe. From the kinda dish they use to the presentation of the food, everything makes ussatisfied. The tuna sashimi is very fresh ( $16 for 6 pcs, a bit pricy tho). The tuna tataki salad taste great, and the portionis pretty big. Fish liver is a must try. Service is ok, not impressive but not bad. Food is amazing, we will definitely be back. Read more

Kyuzo is q nice place to eat at if you want something a little fancier than normal. I've been here multiple times and I find it... nice. The food isn't going to win any awards anytime soon but it's delicious nonetheless. I would, however, not recommend theYaki Udon. I found the dish rather bland. Read more
