A very good Persian restaurant with a delicious variety of meat kebabs (chicken, beef, lamb) and authentic cuisine, cooked well... and taste great. Ordered the Vaziri (Chicken+Beef skewers), the Ghormeh Sabzi (Lamb + Kidney Beans + Herbs) Stew. Meat wascooked really well, the rice was more on the plain side but still tasted good. Unlike our fabulous experience with the Khaghan North Vancouver branch, our first try at the downtown one was not pleasant. With... a noticeably less decorated and less traditional indoors, the washrooms were disappointing. My new favourite Persian restaurant! The Jujeh (boneless chicken) kebab was great and plating is cool. Eggplant appetizers were... excellent too. The restaurant was adorned with a more traditional Persian decor and the menu has something for everyone(including Western alternatives). Read more

I enjoyed eating in Khaghan, the food is delicious, cooked to perfection! The place shows a little history about the Persian... culture. I wasn’t happy with the ventilation in the restaurant, when you first step-in, the smell inside is so strong that itcatches in your clothes! Read more

Excellent quality Persian food from nice staff who care about your experience. I’ve had takeout and dine in and it never... really disappoints. One small critique is that some of their items could use a little less cooking time, particularly the steakand the lamb rack, but to be honest even at medium well the meat is really tender and the char on the meat testes great. Amongthe many Persian options on Denman this is the most consistently good. Read more
