Stumbled upon this place and sat on the patio. We didn?t have a reservation but they luckily seated us anyway. We all ordered a... pizza each and it took around 30 minutes to come out. Very tasty and classic feeling little neighbourhood restaurant. Solid vegetarian options as would be expected from Italian, but... nice attention to balance. Pizza has a nice dry, thin crust that's close to Napoli style but more crisp, with a nice softinterior. Tomato sauce was nice and bright. Read more
For me this is the perfect restaurant. Some may feel the choice is small but everything on the menu is a contender. My... charcuterie was amazing (seriously, it was as good as anything I've enjoyed in Europe, even the "side" of toast) and my Genoapizza was delicious. The choice of Germanic lagers is excellent but, as a solo diner, so was the quality of wines by the glass.This establishment is, in my opinion, all about quality. Unfavourable reviews that reference choice or the time waited toreceive their food are missing the point. It's a beautiful place. The pizzas were fresh and delicious. The view is beautiful too. The dishes took a bit of time to arrive,... but we were a group of 20 people so that's understandable. The staff was so nice and helpful. They even made a vegan pizza forone of our vegan colleagues. Read more
A true breath of fresh air in YVR. Has been as close to a boutique bavarian outpost as you can get in North America and the... beer/wine selection is sublime.
