My friend and I came in to celebrate her birthday tonight and the whole dinner experience at Impostori was top notch. From the... well prepared food to the refreshing drinks and the most attentive staff there. They have the funniest owner, most lovely lobbymanager and the best negroni guru, all the employees there went above and beyond tonight to make sure we had a wonderful dinner.The daily special mushroom soup was so creamy and flavorful, their pasta and veal were also super fine as well. A fabulous new neighbourhood restaurant on South Granville @15th. Experienced management and polished service team under Gordon... Ritchie and Simon Lucken\'s direction. They\'ve barely been open a month and the menu is creative and well executed. There\'sa good choice of wines - some reasonably well priced. Very nice outdoor patio at back. Dined last night at Impostori for the first time with friends. They do a fantastic riff on Caesar salad starter. For the pasta... course we had the daily special duck agnolotti. They were delicate and savoury with blueberries and walnuts on top adding somenice balance and texture. The catch of the day was sockeye and it was perfectly cooked, nestled on risi e bisi with shrimp andspears of al dente asparagus. It all paired well with a nice Verdicchio.
