Came during brunch time on a weekday and had the Smoked Salmon Omelette and Thai Curry Bowl. The omelette was delicious, even... the side salad was memorable (bonus points for the dressing). The vegan yellow curry was fragrant and had a nice mix of veggieslike eggplant, peppers, celery and artichoke. It's a mix between self-service and a restaurant, as you order and pay at thecounter but the chef brings the food out. They also clear the table if not busy. Can't say enough about the good service, giventhat they were kind enough to make the curry at 10 am (when typical lunch items start being served at 11 am). The chef (Sam?)also checked in on us to ensure the food was OK, and he did the same for other diners. He would be cooking and singing along tothe music, which was pleasant and upbeat to listen to. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area as they also have a nicelittle selection of GF cookies. Read more

The Quinoa Kale Salad with trout was quite good. The trout was so juicy that it melted in my mouth and perfectly seasoned. Not... too much to overwhelm and not too lacking for it to be ....blah. The kale was fresh, crispy and tasty.....if you've ever boughtkale to store in the fridge then you know.....it's almost easier to launch a rocket into space than to keep that stuff freshafter three minutes in the fridge. The quinoa was cooked just right.....I personally still don't know how to cook quinoaright...it either comes out like stuff you could cement bricks with or sand. Well....they got it right. The sweet potatoes werenice and and seasoned with a tiny bit of cinnamon....I like cinnamon on pretty much everything.....so that put a smile on myface as I was not expecting it. There was a sauce that came with this dish which they thoughtfully added on the side for me asmy order was to-go. It had little dijon seeds and a really tasty flavour profile adding a herby finish to the salad. WithVancouver prices on the rise in pretty much everything I wasn't surprised that this tasty salad cost me $19. However, this pricerange for this salad was more than fair as it was not only tasty but more than plenty. I don't have much of a sweet tooth butdecided to try their baked goods and went with the apple raisin muffin. When she opened the display to take one out, the smellof the muffin nearly blew me away...not exaggerating. It smelled like I had just opened the door to the oven in the back wherethey cook that stuff. Seriously. When I got home, let's just say.....the poor muffin never saw me coming......inhaled it. Onething to mention about this sweet was at first I thought it was slightly uncooked in the middle but after moreexamination....(yes, I examined a muffin!).....it was the moisture from the raisin that caused the slight precipitation in themiddle. I can still taste the muffin......ok....moving on.... I mean..the lunch experience was wonderful....great staff Read more

I ordered the veggie omelette and to be brutally honest, I left quite unsatisfied. The omelette was overlooked, and the toast... was barely toasted. My friend got a salmon bagel, and they said their bagel was very stale. Their portion was also extremelysmall. I will say though that the seating area was nice with a TV and lots of natural lighting. Best jerk chicken ever! Flavours are amazing all through the chicken, rice and salad. The chef and his friends just chilling... and laughing, maybe they are from Jamaica or Louisiana? Really authentic place! Read more

Small little cafe with friendly staff. The zucchini chips on the side of the breakfast sandwich was my favorite thing we ate!... But everything else was tasty and GF! Read more

We ordered from the restaurant through Skip the Dishes. Honestly brutal, the salad was supposed to come with Chicken? you can... see no chicken. The toast dry, taste like bread from the day before. Eggs overcooked. Overall super sad. Might I add we calledand the lady was kind enough to tell us must been the baristas fault that we did not get the 6$ add chicken and left it withthat?. Overall expensive and bad. Up to Yelp to give a bad review there too! Read more

Such a fun and cute place. The London fog was great and the green tea was nice on a cold and rainy day. The heirs pears... breakfast plate was great! We really loved the hollandaise sauce. It was really the highlight. We also got the smoked salmonomelette too and it was delicious. Would definitely come back! The chef was so jolly and polite. Read more

Unfortunately, it?s not a place I come back. The toasted bread was very dry and there was no butter for it. The egg was over... cooked so not as runny as it should be when cut open. And the coffee was one of rare coffees in my life that I lefthalf-drank. On the good side, the staff were so kind and friendly. Read more
