The best noodles I had in Vancouver, the texture is mind blowing. Shanghai style was my favourite. Also, the portions are huge,... so you?ll have another meal for another day. The only problem is they use excessive amount of oil. Read more

@happynoodlehouse ft pork ribs soup noodle, Shanghai fried noodle and XLB Randomly dropped by this small, cozy place. Good... service. The sofas were older and taped up. The food wasn?t bad. Prob more food court style. Lots of carbs. Pretty good valuefor the portion. Not the most authentic Asian food but still satisfying for a cold winter day. Read more

Food here is cozy sustenance. For me Chinese food is a powerful craving and I always eat more than usual when I am here. Last... evening we had ordered Tan-Tan noodles, hot chili wontons, house special fried rice, crispy chicken with dried chili peppers andsliced pork belly with chili peppers. The flavors in the food blended perfectly , the rice was fluffy and the stir-friedvegetables were crunchy without being mushy. Whatever we have sampled has turned out to be mouth-watering. However, (this hasvery little to do with the food)I wish the tables were a little less wobbly. The staff find it difficult to join them when theneed arises. Read more

Such yummy food! We were in the mood for dumplings and noodles and this hit the spot. Huge portions for a great price. Customer... service was great too, super accommodating for our group of 8 people. Would recommend to any family or friends in the Vancouverarea. Read more

Delicious food and great service. Portions were quite generous, too, and we couldn't finish everything. We had the spicy won... ton, tan tan noodles, and a Beijing spicy noodle dish. All were good, particular the Beijing noodles. My only note would bethat the tan tan noodles had too much sauce. In fact, there was so much sauce that we took the leftover sauce home and ate itthe next day mixed into some spaghetti noodles and it was delicious. Read more

Got the Lanzhou beef noodle soup with chili oil added in, it was really delicious and as other people mentioned it needed the... oil to add a bit of flavour as it was light otherwise. We also got the tan-tan noodles, which was great but the sauce was a bittoo thick for us. I added some of the broth of the soup to thin it out a touch. I also got the braised eggplant which was agreat choice, however quite oily. Altogether great place for a Sunday lunch and I will be back again! Read more

The Lanzhou noodles were great, just a few slices of beef but sizeable portion on the noodles itself. The soup base tasted quite... natural (i.e. little to no msg). All the pan fried "soup" dumplings didn't hold liquid inside (it leaked out) but the dumplingswere quite large in size. Good prices given the location, small place, no parking, server didn't look like she wanted to bethere but did the job. Would go again for the noodles. Read more
