Reviews for ikoi mochi donuts in Vancouver, BC
I pass by this place all the time and I've always wanted to try their mochi donuts. Very pretty. Got half a dozen. I think... there is a better deal if you take a bubble tea drink with your donuts. They were too pretty to eat. Great tasting. Read more
Tried the mango and matcha mochi donuts. The mango was super fruity and the matcha wasn't bitter at all. It didn't overpower... either which was nice because I thought the matcha would be very strong. The donuts were very soft and chewy, but were sittingout on a tray, and were not hot and fresh which was disappointing. The store was pretty warm and made the frosting melt whichmade the donut very messy to eat. Read more
The bubble tea was really good, I especially love the strawberry lemon green tea, it was very refreshing and was not too sweet.... You could taste the lemons and strawberries and the sugar does not overwhelm the flavour like some other bubble tea shops. Themochi donuts are also really good, at first, it WAS oily, but now it?s much much butter, and have very little oil. The cream oricing on top is also perfectly sweet too. The customer service was also really good too. Once I forgot to add pearls and thestaff already made it, and when I asked, they added it on for free :) Ill definitely come back for more. Read more
They are soooo pretty and I hope they could be less oily. I feel like there is a burst of oil when I first bite into it, before... I can taste that mochi chewiness and the respective flavours. Chocolate tastes the best. The purple yam looks so elegant. Matchaflavour not too distinct and strawberry tastes very artificial. We are happy to try it but don?t think we will buy them again. Great service here. They sell mochi donuts too! Tried the black sesame mochi donut and it was pretty decent but not as good as... Mochido. Their bubble tea tasted average and they have a daily special for $4. 99 Read more
Friends took me here because they liked the mochi. There was only one person working at the time around 2pm. Nevertheless, he... was taking orders and making bubble like a champ. Didn?t have to wait long to get my drink. I ordered the Milk Tea with Mochiand Taro (half sugar). It had bits of real taro mixed in and the mochi was a nice twist. The drink wasn?t too sweet. It was goodbut I wouldn?t go out of my way to get it again Read more
Stopped by for a bubble tea and wasn?t disappointed! It?s a little on the pricier side but I really liked their mochi topping.... Service was great and there was also ample seating indoors. Read more
-1 star for watery tasting diluted bubble tea. The cost doesn?t match up to how bland and boring it tasted. BUT 4 stars is all... for the MOCHI donuts!! They were so good.. I dream about the next time I get to grab some. They aren?t cheap but they are verywell made if you like to eat chewy texture donuts vs cake donuts. Read more
