Delicious and affordable! Rolls are 4-6$ individually, large rolls are around 10$. The consistency of their rolls is perfect,... right ratio of rice to fish and vegetable. This was our favorite place out of all the sushi places we tried while we were inVancouver and we tried several sushi places. Small place, but it looks brand new, clean, and neat. Also the service wasimpeccable! You know it's going to be good when people are lining up outside to get some sushi! We will be going back the nexttime we are in Vancouver! Read more
Disappointing and bland. I hate leaving bad reviews but I came for the reviews found the food simply wasn?t good. I ordered a... spicy tuna, spicy salmon and prawn tempura. (All Labeled as ?favourites? on the menu) It didn?t taste bad but it also didn?ttaste like anything? The salmon and tuna were indistinguishable (see photo). There was also lettuce in one of the wraps ?? Theonly thing with flavour on the plate was the soy sauce. Read more
Pretty decent sushi at an okay price! The salmon quality is great, although I will say the tuna did give me a weird mouth feel.... Overall, a nice place to go to grab a quick bite and squash your sushi craving. I got a sushi combo and a chirashi bowl, bothwith salmon and tuna. Read more

Ordered a Teishoku Set (chirashi), and salmon and tuna sashimi with a bowl of brown rice. The set has a nice variety with the... oshi (pressed box) sushi, seaweed salad, miso soup, and the karage and mayo. The amount of fish was fair for the $19.95 price.The sashimi by itself was also pleasant and fresh, not weirdly fishy or 'frozen' as some establishments present. The salmon wasnot as thick of a cut, instead thinner and longer. The only issue I had was with the brown rice, which was a tad overcooked andmushy. The service was friendly and efficient, bringing both hot tea (and hot water as requested), checking in occasionally andbeing attentive to when we were finished our food. Read more
We had the best, most pleasant service today. Found this on our second day in town. The servers were awesome. Friendly.... Quick. Sushi was very good. Loved the volcano. Price was surprisingly low for great good. I would highly recommend. Read more
I guess I don't qualify as a Japanese food critique, but I found the shusi and the Gyoza offered at this restaurant in very... decent quality and quite tasty. I was told the restaurant has been in the neighborhood for a few years. Hard to be wrong withsuch restaurant which survived the COVID in the neighborhood. Read more
