Regrettably disappointed in every sense. Being in the heart of Little Italy, with several other amazing authentic Italian... restaurants within the block, I was incredibly disappointed with the food quality. Everything somehow lacked any flavour? Itwas bizzare. I cooked my own sauce with spices of my own to add to the pasta, because a bolognese (?!) had no flavour - at all.It was eerie enough I thought maybe I could be under the weather and couldn't access my palate, but upon trying the other items- wings, flatbread - and a 3rd party trying bites of each (offering the food away). The 3rd party described it as sustenancefood. This is not Italian. An oven stone means nothing if you don't have flavour. I respect the establishment and am sure thestaff work hard. As a restaurant manager for many years (though no longer) including in-house daily made pasta for Italianrestaurants, I have 90% of my order from yesterday left. A few bites of everything, and the lack of flavour, quality, actual FOHservice... It was a learning experience for me. I hope the management make some changes soon, because frankly, such a keylocation should be given to a more competent and deserving restaurant. Wishing the staff and management well, I know it's noteasy. I didn't care about the extra wait time (~40min), but to get home and have inedible food was a real wake up call. Work asa team. That was the biggest thing I could easily identify as a problem. Should someone be rolling cutlery with 6+ peoplewaiting in the front? I truly wish success for this restaurant in the future, but I can say without a doubt, a half dozenrestaurants within 5min walking that will actually delight - not "just get by", or sad to say again, disapppoint. I have gone to this location a few times since it opened. The last two incidences is what I am writing a review for. The... restaurant itself is clean. The food is sub par, pizza sauce on the salty side, pasta really no flavour, salad not a very goodpresentation. Service both times was horrible. I got my pasta 10 minutes before my husband got his pizza. We didn't even eattogether. There was two occasions where we had to get up and go inside to motion for service. It was not busy inside. Onlypositive was the quality and price of the very berry mojitos! The other visit, we left after not being served for 15 minutes.We were trying to feed our athlete children after a soccer game, and we were a big table that was ready to spend. Again, was notbusy at all. I think this restaurant is in a difficult location. There is so many great authentic Italian restaurants nearbywith great service and reputation. Came here Aug 28 at 8PM and was helped by James. He?s a superstar. I just have to say thank you to the team because I?ve double... booked myself for a potluck and ran here in an emergency. They took my order and had the food out in less than 10 minutes so Icould make it to my event. They really saved my butt. The food was delicious too! Read more

Wonderful from start to finish. We were greeted as soon as we walked in to be seated. They have great patio seating and plenty... of it. Covid19 health and safety practices in place and a 1hour dining time limit is enforced. The food came out fast and hotthe presentation was appealing and the taste was excellent. Fresh is key. The sauce and cheese to the meat and the bread - thebread was light and crisp. The salad was well balanced with enough dressing. It was a fantastic dinning experience overall.
