My toddler and I were running errands nearby and she was getting hungry when we saw the sign in Everyday's window indicating... $2.50 for a California roll. The sushi chef kindly made a roll for her even though we were the only customers at the time. Itwas the perfect lunch treat for a 3-year-old (and if I had more time I would have ordered for myself; the piece I snuck wassuper fresh and delicious). Highly recommend! Read more
Home of the $2.50 California Roll and the rest of the menu is great too. A bit of a drive to get there but if you are in the... UBC/Kistilano area this is a must stop for a quick and cheap...but quality meal. They have been here for a while and intend tostay...they are treated like one of the locals. Read more
My absolute favourite sushi restaurant! The owner is so kind and the food is always delicious!! Wouldn?t go anywhere else.

Went here a couple of weeks ago with an entertainment coupon valid until the end of 2020 which he declined due to covid!? The... only establishment to turn down a coupon last year for that reason! I wouldn't have gone there if I hadn't had the coupon andcertainly wont return as the food sucked! As others said the miso water was horrible and the chef special roll was midocre atbest and the place is filthy! Read more
Food was terrible! Miso soup tasted like water. Ordered agedashi tofu and it was mushy. They used teriyaki sauce on the tofu.... This is not a Japanese restaurant. Stay away! Prices aren?t cheap either. One of the worse sushi places I have ever been to. Read more
The place is quite small and was unusually empty when I went on a Monday at 3pm. The sushi was relatively expensive compared to... other places and the service wasn?t that great either. Staff kept disappearing and different people brought things to my table.The sushi itself was small, average tasting and didn?t taste as fresh as sun sushi which is almost next door (also cheaper,busier, and better service). This restaurant scammed us, luckily we saw through it and went back and got our money back straight away. Paid on card, they... said it didn't go through so paid cash. Left and checked online banking, the payment had gone through. Watch out for thesethieves. Read more
