Honestly the poutine served is the best that I ever had. Also, 5 stars for their customer service. The cute lady at the front... with her beautiful smile greets you every-time you enter their shop however the only part that annoys me a little is when shecalls me sir (just kidding haha). Their management has done a great job recruiting excellent staff who demonstrate greatprofessionalism and genuine concern towards customers. One of my Main Stays in terms of outdoor eateries. I highly recommend Donair dude if you're looking for something that is fast... healthy and nutritious. Definitely one of the places in Vancouver to check out, if you're in a rush and you're still looking forsomething that's going to fill you up. Five star rating. Read more
Donair Dude has become shocking bad. The meat portion is not worth the $13 price tag, they literally give you about a table... spoon of veggie toppings, and of course cheese is extra. This was one of the thinnest donairs I have ever had, and it?s notbecause they grill press it. The hot sauces and spreads in 2014 were totally different (delicious), when they offered garlicspread, hummus, and red pepper. Now they don?t have the garlic spread, and the red pepper paste is extremely dry and grainy. Thehot sauce has become watered down sriracha. The garlic parm fries were pretty good, but at $9 you might as well go to cactus andget the real thing. Terrible. Read more
They?re open late and don?t disappoint! The amount of meat you get for just under $15 is amazing. The taste is amazing as well.... Not just quantity over quality. I?ve been inside the restaurant before and the staff are efficient and kind. Huge thanks to thisestablishment! I ordered the lamb donair and beef add on and their hummus which comes with a pita. Ordered 2 large poutines got 2 tiney small poutines.... If this is a large then dam for $14 you scamming people.
I honestly don't know whether it was this location that I ordered DoorDash delivery from, but what I do know is that both the... chicken and lamb donairs were made to perfection, wrapped very neatly in a pita, and extremely delicious. I used to come here regularly because it used to be good quality and value and a quick meal. That is no longer the case. The... donair doesn't taste as good as it used to. Not sure what changed but it's just not worth nearly $20 for a donair with extrameat anymore. Read more
