This place has really gone downhill. Been coming for years. But the service is not what it used to be. The chicken and lamb are... dry and not cooked well like they used to be. The portions are smaller, the spreads are hakf of what they used to be, and lasttime the attendant was super nice, but they wrapped it all wrong and it was a mess. This used to be my only donair shop, but Ithink it's time to move on. Read more

I have been looking for a authentic donair place all around Vancouver and when I finally found this shop honestly it did not... disappoint at all. I myself got the chicken donair and I was truly impressed with the flavour, on top of that they also have abunch of great sides that I got some of them being their onion rings their fries and their fried pickles everything was superdelicious. It was packed full I definitely got my money?s worth but the best part was the memories that it brought back. While on my trip to Vancouver, my mom and I stopped here for lunch. First time eating here, we both had falafel pitas. The... portion was enormous and soo good. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the different sauces and ingredients.Will definitely go back on my next trip to van! Thanks ladies lunch was awesome ?? Read more

The place is nice, food is average. only three stars in my opinion. First, Let?s start with the chicken, lamb, and beef aren?t... cut from the skewers per each order, they basically take from a pot that has meat previously cut which could be from 2 days ago,hence, yes you guessed it, it?s not as hot as it supposed to be, in matter of couple minutes it goes completely cold. Second,the Hummus, honestly idk what was that served with the food, It was alright but it wasn?t a hummus (see the orange solid thingin my pictures), I guess I?m a bit harsh because I was expecting an authentic experience. After trying it for the first time, I was hooked on Donair's offerings. Since then, I would try to find the closest Donair Dude... whenever I am outside and feel like eating. I once chanced upon the Donair Dude at Granville street after school and have beenreturning to this place since. Let me tell you, I have tried several Donair stores, but this one just hits right. The store iswell maintained, and the staff is friendly & helpful. They don't hold back in giving the quantity of meat you actually paid for,unlike others who do that. The crowd is generally pleasant, though the place usually gets busy at night. Make sure to give it atry. I'm pretty sure you would keep coming back to this place day after day. Read more
