Absolutely the worst Donair I've ever had. And they do not know what there doing when it comes to fresh quality. Our onions... rings were BLACK!!! NONE OF THE BREADING STUCK TO THE ONIONS RINGS. Ate here for the first time and fufilled all of my cravings, had the donair poutine which was delicious and was served a large... portion! My partner got the chicken rice bowl which had a nice balance of everything, we actually ended up switching meals sinceI enjoy the variety. The owner of the store was very friendly and we had a nice chat. For their portions and for vancouverprices, I would say they are reasonably priced. Would eat again! Read more
Food quality excellent. I had a donair and my partner had the chicken donair rice platter. Again, quality very good. Tasted... great. That said, very little donair meat in the donair (actually, very disappointing). Way more Pita (wrapped twice) and I?dactually call it a Panini - not a true Donair. Not being critical - just not at all what I expected, especially given the pricepoint. Read more

I had quite an unpleasant experience. I didn't hear the staff call my order and my friend asked for the works on my behalf (my... fault for not knowing my order was up). Anyway, when I found I didn't get to customize my order, I asked for some differentingredients, to which the staff (I suspect manager) told me I'd already been helped and that I'd have to pay for extraingredients. I found it embarrassing that the whole store / staff heard me be belittled. I understand I didn't hear my order,but I thought it was reasonable to ask for what I wanted; I was not expected to be scolded. At least they ended up giving methe sauce I wanted for free. Read more
Normally this is my go-to spot for donair in the West End, especially this specific location. I am a Donair Dude regular, often... choosing to go to this chain (including in Gastown and Granville St.) over other similar Donair shops. This time, however, wasnothing but a horrendous experience. Just be aware, that when it gets remotely busy, the staff's main priority is to just pumporders out, neglecting to even follow your order details. From placing the order at the till, to receiving my donairs, it wasall just a crapfest. The lady at the till was impatient, and genuinely seemed annoyed when I asked for toppings not in theorder that was on their display listed and was rude when I asked if I could add extra protein on the side. Long story short,they ended up shorting me on my added protein (I paid an additional $3.50 for extra chicken in my lamb Donair, and only gotequivalent to split protein amount), and for some odd reason, they added pineapples when I never asked for them? The secondDonair was regular lamb (no added protein) and that one had more filling than the one that I paid extra for. Overall a decentchain for fast food. Will opt for other restaurants in the area though, as staff at this location don't really care to followorder details. Read more

Always been regular there and leave a tip. A few days ago I found a long hair in my donair. Today the guy wanted to give me a... donair that was falling a part and just because a made a comment he offered me to make a new one.
