Reviews for Dockside Restaurant in Vancouver, BC
Very nice place with good atmosphere. Me and my husband came to Granville market late and we didnt know it closes so early. We... are from US and we didnt had internet on our phones to make a reservation at the dockside. But they were very nice to give ustable outside with good view. They also provided blanket because I it got chilly. We were not so hungry so we stick with paellaand duck croquettes and 2 drinks. I liked my cocktail Milan and my husband got cocktail el limone with limoncello. I loved duckcroquettes they were very tender and tasty. Paella also had a lot of seafood. Overall we had a nice time there. Read more
Recently had a couples dinner and chose Dockside. We’ve been numerous times for brunch, lunch and dinner and they never... disappoint. Service was prompt but not too intrusive and the food was well prepared and tasty. Wife had the halibut and I hadthe lamb sirloin. We shared the burrata toast to start. All delicious. Looking forward to the summer so that we can dine outsidenext time. Read more

The scenery is great the service is attentive. Overall the food was good. The carpaccio and the scallops were great, but there... was also a couple of the dishes that we sampled that day which were a bit too heavy on the salt, aka the smoked olives and themushroom risotto. The cioppino was heavy on the salt too, however we were forewarned it has very rich and intense flavors, whichit did have and not just the salt. Read more
Good food and lovely decor but we saw a mouse passing by the couch and chairs. We told the server and he let his manager know... and they gave 1 slice of tiramisu free of charge. Not a very pleasant experience. This makes me think of how clean and hygienicthey are in the kitchen. Won't come back again. Read more
After picking up my sister in law from the airport, we headed over to Granville Island to try the brunch menu at Dockside... Restaurant. While we were the youngest patrons there (we’re in our late 30’s) the restaurant is beautiful with incrediblenatural lighting, even on a rainy day. Dockside’s mimosas come with traditional orange juice, or grapefruit or pineapple for atropical twist. We all ordered something different to get a good feel for options. The stuffed French toast is medley of sweetand tart flavors with a fresh creamy filling. The BBQ rib hash comes in a mini cast iron skillet and is a spicy and savorybreakfast option. I had the smoked meat breakfast sandwich and it’s almost two meals in one. The smoked meat is tender anddelicious and if you’re hungry this will surely hit the spot. Read more

It's been some time since we came to the dockside for dinner, but the experience was memorable and worth an overdue review. We... enjoyed the water front views and were graced with some fleeces by the staff. The food was fresh, aesthetically pleasant anddelicious. Their offering of cocktails is also noteworthy. Do ask for their recommendations and explain your preferences. Theymay just surprise you. Read more
