We went here for my oldest daughter's birthday dinner in July and the food was delicious. We ate outside on the patio and our... server took great care of us. We ordered spicy fried broccoli, fried brussel sprouts, hot wings, two types of oysters, andfries. Although I didn't eat the oysters, my daughter loved them. Wow! The oysters, the poutine, and the CALAMARI! This is how you want your calamari, thick cuts, lightly breaded and cooked all... the way thru - not chewy at all. Came on a Thursday evening with a friend. I am VERY conflicted about this place. Food was quite good. Oysters were above... exceptional, calamari was great, surf and turf was decent, not great. The service on the other hand was bizarre! Our waiter wasgreat at the beginning, very friendly, funny, swore a lot (that's part of the vibe I guess), and then half way through service,disappeared! Didn't come to check on the table, or clear it, nothing! We had to ask random waiters for another drink, or thebill, etc. Each of whom seemed pretty annoyed. I'm all for the fun laid back atmosphere, but when your bill is $300 for 2people, I'd expect a minimal level of service. Read more

A great place to go for happy hour menu. When I went, they had 2 different East Coast oysters and Fanny Bay oysters on their... happy hour menu. I've been to Oyster Bars where no oysters were served during happy hour, so this was nice. When I went, it wasvery busy since it was during Dine Out Vancouver. Read more
