Be careful Best Falafel will overcharge you if you don't pay attention. The prices they punch into the till are a lot higher... than advertised on the sign outside. I told them 6 months ago it was wrong, and now it's even worse because they increasedprices again without updating the signs. Ordered a shawarma plate last week. After selling me undercooked chicken that literally tasted bad, I called and the young guy... working there was completely rude and refused to offer me a refund. He said, "I'll give you 2 bucks for the chicken." I haveeaten here many times over the years and it was always awesome. But I believe ownership must have changed now because both theservice and food were horrible and I will never go there again and will tell everyone I know never to eat there unless they wantto risk food poisoning. I've been coming here on and off, and each is consistent as the last. I'm kind of impartial to the beef donair, but the chicken... is great, along with the provided sauces, juicy and flavorful. My own personal complaint is the pickled beets just kind of hasthat bitter/acidic taste, same with the other joints out there, so just ask the server to not add to your plate, other thanthat, great price/portion value and tastes great everytime. I was more disappointed... that they forgot the pita wrap with my chicken platter, with no bread at home I just threw the humus away.
