I was attending a concert and thought I would try BC Kitchen. Big disappointment. I had the Prime Rib (house smoked Prime Rib... served with crispy potatoe, mixed vegetables, au jus & yorkshire pudding) and a happy hour glass of wine. The best part of thewhole meal was the wine and au jus. The prime rib was adequate, the crispy potato was not crispy, the mixed vegetables consistedof 3 pieces of extremely hard broccoli and the Yorkshire pudding was disgusting. I ordered a second glass of wine so that Icould swallow the food which took 15 minutes to arrive. By that time I had finished my disgusting dinner. Needless to say, Iwill not be returning anytime soon. Save your money and eat at McDonald's. After posting my review, the manager Albert) stoppedby and we discussed my concerns with my meal and in the end made it right. He is going to talk to the kitchen and gave me a niceglass of wine. Nice pre concert spot. Service was v pleasant. Food was decent but not as good as an Earls or Cactus. Nice ambiance, basically a... nice sports bar inside a casino. Would give it 3.5 if I could. Would return but not a destination place for me. Read more
I was looking for a new place to try on doordash, and I picked this place. Decided to try two pretty safe items that are hard... to mess up, pizza and wings..... They were both shockingly bad. Somehow the wings were half well cooked and half soggy andgross. The pizza was gross and soggy. Every piece I picked up, the front half of the piece just flopped towards the ground andthe toppings were basically non existent. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone..... Read more
Went in after a Lions game and found the service to be great and quick which was surprising. Quality was good too. Also, with... tickets, get a discount on your order on GameDay. That was a nice bonus. Typical bar good with a few unique dishes but theburger might be the sneaky best downtown I've had. Great flavour. We'll go back. Open early and late! Read more
Really enjoyed a casual date night here. Although it was weird to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant, I really... enjoyed that it wasn't too loud/overwhelming given the number of TVs on and showing sports. The Market East side of the menu hadDELICIOUS Asian food, and it was great the get the variety along with the pub fare. I found all the food came out piping hot,and service was attentive but not overbearing. Will definitely be back. Read more
Nachos were terrible. Expensive, dry, stale and barely any toppings.. we had to send them back. Vodka Red Bull was $22,... bartender apparently made it a double ($15). The rest of the food wasn't as bad as the nachos. DO NOT recommend Read more
Service was slow with only 4 tables occupied. The food quality is not what I remember it to be from previous visits. The fries... are crispy but hollow and oily. The batter on the fish was crispy outside and oily on the inside. The fish was bland and evenoilier. Even the tartar sauce was bland. My drink - a 7up was watered down most likely from the bar well. My Husband and I have visited BC Kitchen the last 2 Saturdays in a row, during peak times and have received absolutely wonderful... service! We attended last Saturday before a Canucks game and this Saturday before the Bryan Adams concert. Despite it beingexceptionally busy, the front counter hostesses were smiling, calm and super inviting. The serving staff were very personableand we had multiple people check on us during our meal, including the Manger Albert (who is a Rockstar) and the restaurantSupervisor. The food was also great and served very fast! If you're looking for a place to go before or after an event nearbyI would definitely recommend BC Kitchen. However, if it's before and event I would also recommend reservations as it's a popularspot. Thank-you again for the exceptional service during our last couple visits!
