The definition of an average pho place. The peanut satay beef and house special were all satisfactory. The spring rolls were... also very average. The Durian Smoothie could have used more durian as it tasted a bit watered down with more ice than fruit.Complete average pho experience. Read more
Just your typical bowl of pho soup but I just found my regular place for pho now. Very clean restaurant, clean presentation... with food. The pho broth is also very clean. Most other restaurants have very cloudy broths, full of bones. The noodles weregreat; they were cooked right and soft. I ordered beef brisket/flank and it was one the best meats I've tried on pho, very soft,thinly sliced and melts in your mouth. Server gives water right away when you sit down. Most other restaurants won't give youwater until you ask. Fairly priced with the perfect amount of serving. Will be coming back again with my fiancé. Read more
I find his pho joint solid but my only complaint was that the broth was way too salty. My friends thought it was worse but when... pour in hot water, my pho was delicious. Definitely will be going back (with an addition of a hot water order!). I ordered thepork pho and it was great! The pho place is extremely hygenic and usually, its an odd indicator of a bad pho place but thisplace has it right. Also, you need to order the grilled pork rolls. Darn good! Read more
My two friends and I visited this place yesterday. All the phos were way too salty that one of us had to add an entire cup of... hot water. Their rolls were good but others were not what we expected. The place didn?t have any music as well. Read more
2021-11-01 update Still one of the best broth after two years! The rice noodles are soft and smooth. Table and chopsticks are... clean this time. House special number 8 with extra cilantro and green onions sub rice noodles for vermicelli-was superior Pho. My colleague... ordered the rare beef only option, i think #28 or 29. The broth was excellent ????. Add black pepper mmm so good. Greatrecommendation. I will be back for more and I will be bringing friends and family. All new fresh and clean with live greenery onthe walls. Staff wearing masks and all Covid precautions and guidelines followed. I?ve had better pho and other Vietnamese dishes somewhere else but I will give points to this restaurant because of its... cleanliness and atmosphere. The price is a little high and the dishes were so-so. I do like their garlic butter chicken wings alot, though, so I do some back here for that. The staffs are friendly and the space is pretty modern so you can take some nicephotos here. Read more
Kinda disappointed with my Basil Garden Restaurant order today. The meal was ordered on Doordash with 1 drink and two meals and... they missed the entire curry beef meal. :< The pork skewer, spring rolls, and pork patty were barely warm, stale, when theyarrived, the item portion was smaller than before. The rice noodles were unfresh-tasting like it?s been there sitting thereovernight. And the fish sauce was watered-down. The food at Basil Garden was pretty tasty last time I visited their restaurantin person. Will visit them in person instead of ordering take-out next time! ???? Read more
