The food here was divine. Loved the texture of the pasta and the salad was really delicious. Only issue with this place is the... tables are very tight and you feel like you are encroaching on the other diners. This was the second time we dined at this restaurant. Our server, Danielle, was exceptional and super friendly. The free range... chicken dish (Mezzo Pollo) that I ordered was so tasty and tender. The dinner would not be complete without their signaturedessert: tiramisu; I was engrossed with it and forgot to take a picture, unfortunately! We were seated right away on a Tuesday evening on their spacious patio – the perfect spot for people watching. They have 50%... off bottles of wine on Tuesday so we decided on a bottle of rose which was very refreshing! We started out with the duck liverand prosciutto & salumi appetizers – both were fantastic, fresh and of great quality. They had a number of specials for theday (lamb ragu, stuffed pasta, salad of the day, etc.), however I opted for the tagliatelle bolognese while my friend had thelinguine puttanesca. Great spot with that genuine Italian style hospitality. As a lone traveller, the staff took time to make me welcome, & chat when... they could. Noisy, with other diners obviously enjoying themselves. The Vitello Tonnato took me back to many trips throughItaly. Incredibly tender, slightly underdone with a delicious hit of flavour from the sauce. Visited here a week or so ago and had a great time. Our server was very helpful with explaining all the dishes were having and... providing recommendations. For appies we had the duck liver, tuna crudo and vitello tonnato (shaved veal). Favorite wasprobably the duck liver with the crostini. The crostini was crispy and light browned which went great with the duck liver. Theveal was very good as well with very tender veal and sauce. Don't remember the name of the mains we ordered but, we basicallyall had pasta. I had a tortellini style stuffed pasta. Lots of cheese flavor and some veal I believe. This place is a littlebit on the expensive side and portions was not that big. Still a good experience and worth a visit. Really loved the duck liverappetizer. Read more

Have wanted to come here for so long and finally did! The food in general was good. We got gluten free pasta, chicken, and 2... desserts. I was a tiny bit disappointed because after reading other reviews I thought they would have better gluten free optionsfor bread and pasta but no they didn’t have gluten free bread. The gluten free option for pasta is not the right kind of pastafor the dishes but they were still good. The prosciutto appertizer is a must order, for the price is a bit expensive but thecheese was amazing. The chicken I really like, but maybe the waitress oversell it a little bit as It wasn’t mind blowing asshe described. Still enjoyed it. Desserts were kind of okay. Came here to celebrate the hubby's birthday and everything from food to service was top notch. The pasta was perfectly cooked... and I even scraped the bottom of the plate because it was THAT tasty! Apart from food, I thoroughly enjoyed the limoncellospritz and my hubby regretted not getting that as well. The only complaint I have is that the portion sizes are very small andeven after 2 drinks, 2 pastas and 1 appetizer, we still left feeling slightly hungry. Read more

I've been wanting to try out Autostrada for a while, and I'm so glad we did. Truly amazing service and the food was sublime.... Hard to find pasta that's this perfectly made outside of Bologna or by someone's Italian granny. Really tasty daily specialsthat are worth sampling. It seems like a lot of thought goes into the dish preparation, so you're presented with lovely platesthat are wonderfully tasty. Great wine and drink selection as well, the tiramisu was divine, and the whipped cream on the tortacaprese was wonderfully decadent and the perfect topper for this dessert.
