Just gave them another chance, and it was horrible food just like before. No buffet, food was greasy, even the fried rice but... also bland. Sweet tea was not sweet, and very watery, will never eat there again!!! Read more
Total disappointment! I never had such bland wonton soup, lots of "broth" more water flavor than broth. The wontons themselves... were flavorless. The egg rolls were awful, maybe old. I have never had a egg roll with sweetness to them, very odd! I asked forextra mustard for the egg rolls. I received 8 for 10 egg rolls. She acted like it was killing her to give me extra mustard. There was no buffet. There were a few tables you could eat at, but as someone else stated the dining room looked like a storage... area - and not a particularly neat one. The soft drink dispenser didn't appear to work. I had shrimp with lobster sauce. All Ican say is don't bother. Read more
New China holds a very special place in my heart. It has become a tradition that every Christmas Eve me and my family order... Chinese food from here, and we have been doing that for over 7 years. However, we do occasionally order from here at randomtimes throughout the year because they?re so good. My favorite things to order are lo mein with the crunchy noodles, egg fooyoung, and sometimes I get the fried doughnuts. I like putting soy sauce and sriracha on my lo mein personally. The Chow Mein isalso good. New China is a staple of Vancleave and a great place to eat. I highly recommend it. I?ve had Chinese food in bigcities before, such as New York City, and I believe that New China is up to par with them. Great place with great memories andgreat food. Read more

Ordered Kung Pao Chicken, steamed dumplings, Sheimp Chao Mei Fun. Fried rice was plain and dry, steamed dumplings were ok, not... the best, but doable, Kung pao was absolutely aweful, there was no flavor, and the spices used were a weird uncomfortable spice,the shrimp chow mei fun had so many vegetables that should never even be in it, with very few shrimp. I really wanted to enjoy the food here even though their dining area looked like a storage unit. The only thing my family... enjoyed was the egg rolls. The Crab Rangoon was made with a strange almost mayonnaise tasting sauce. The chicken was hot forall but one of the dishes. The Lo Mein Noodle dish had warm chicken and the shrimp was cold like it came straight out of therefrigerator. The kitchen was open to the dining area and all you could smell was food burning the entire time. We were reallyhoping for a great meal, but we left hungry and disappointed.
