Worst experience ever! If I could leave it 0 stars I would. I was apart of a party in which we booked the room for a gathering... to celebrate. Manny approached us saying we had to move because they double booked. We were confused because if you doublebooked and we were here first then why would we move especially if we have more people. He looked embarrassed and couldn’tanswer the question. I don’t want to say racism was involved but I’m still thinking of a reason why this happened. Last night was the first time I have ever had "ANY ISSUES" with Hickory Tavern. I ordered steak tacos with super crispy tater... tots. Meal got there and tater tots were cold and soft inside, steak tacos were cold as well, our server came over and Iinformed her of the problem I wife's meal was cold too, she told us that she would have our order redone, another 15 to 20minutes later our second plates came, my wife's was warm my tater tots were finally hot and crispy but the tacos were still coldand very bland!! Shame on you Hickory Tavern for the lousy meal. This is the first time I have ever complained about anythingthere and I hope you will correct this problem or we won't be spending any of my money there!! Very unhappy customer ???? Read more
Taste buds were bursting with flavor..Salmon grilled an seasoned to perfection.. actually enjoyed it for 2nds!!!
We were looking for a place to grab a quick drink. Came in here at 10:30, they close at 11. We cut it really close, I know.... John, the bartender was the sweetest and nicest. He made our drinks amazing. He didn't rush us at all. Made small talk with us.This was our first time here and we definitely will come back because of the nice people and friendly staff. Read more
This place is next to none in Indian Land! The managers, servers, ambience, food quality and value bring us back to dine in... several times a month. We are from New Orleans and used to great food. We overlooked this restaurant for a few years thinkingit was just a typical sports bar… we came one day with neighbors and found a place close to home which gives us all the above.Nick, Dustin and John and all the managers and as well as Tamisha, Olivia, Madison and all servers go over and beyond to makesure our expectations are well taken care off. Good atmosphere food and service. Had the Cajun rub wings. Very nice night out. They have a great tasting low carb bun for... their burgers. I recommend that you get it. I felt like I was family here. Thank you hickory tavern. I look forward toreturning. Read more
First time at this location and the food was delicious. The pretzel bites were an awesome appetizer. Look forward to coming... back again and trying some new things, especially the loaded nachos we kept seeing go by our table. Read more
Incredibly rude hostess. We understand everywhere is short staffed. The dining room had 10+ empty tables and the hostess told... us a 10-15 minutes wait, we chose to wait. After 25 minutes I was told it’ll still be a while we’re short staffed. We hadour young baby with us and just wanted an approximate wait time but could not be provided one while tables sat empty. Meanwhilehostess kept directing people to sit in bar area which had extra staff to accommodate people. Not sure why a restaurant managerwouldn’t move staff to where they are needed. Clearly bad management and rude employees. Witnessed 3 other parties leave.Guess this location doesn’t need business. Read more
